Zephaniah 3:4 Her prophets are reckless, treacherous men; Her priests have profaned the sanctuary. They have done violence to the law. 5 The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame. 6 “I have cut off nations; Their corner towers are in ruins. I have made their streets desolate, With no one passing by; Their cities are laid waste, Without a man, without an inhabitant. 7 “I said, ‘Surely you will revere Me, Accept instruction.’ So her dwelling will not be cut off [According to] all that I have appointed concerning her. But they were eager to corrupt all their deeds. 8 “Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal. (NASB1995)

God sees your deeds. He knows your prophecies, your failure to to speak forth His message. He knows your preaching, your failure to shepherd your flocks. He knows your rule, your failure to abide by your own laws having totally forgotten His.

Men today may seem to evade the just arm of the Lord, but the day will soon come when men will hide themselves under whatever cover that they can find and call out for the rocks to hide them from the wrath of this Almighty God Whom they now ignore. But the Lord has long ago decreed that by fire He will destroy the wickedness from this present earth. In our day, possibly because we get news so quickly, we think to ourselves that things can’t become any more wicked, and then it does.

Problem is some folks don’t have any moral compass, whereas you and I have the same teacher, who shows us the way of righteousness. He writes His laws upon our hearts.

We are no better than they, without our Lord we are them, but we yielded to His awesomeness. We rely on His forgiveness, which stems from His great mercy and Grace. We walk with Him and He changes us in the inner man into men and women being given a new freedom to see and hear truth. A people who can see through eyes of faith how things will be when He comes to wipe out all evil and then to wipe away every tear.

Today is the day of salvation. Seek Him while He can be found.

John 9:4 “We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. (NASB1995)

Jesus gave us a commission to go and tell. We can see that evil is spreading. A day is coming when men will be unable to see the light. Tell them while they can yet see and hear.
