So concerning Terry’s contention reguarding “Second Advent (the second phase), the exact number of days until its occurrence can be calculated.*

This will require a bit more scripture to unravel then his first point. So the exact number of days (if calculated from the beginning of the making of a covenant or some say a peace treaty to begin until the end of Tribulation), can only be true if we know that the Lord’s coming is exactly on the last day of the 7 year Tribulation period. It would be 7 years to the day from it’s beginning for the Lord’s coming. At least this is the arguing point. But we are not to know the day or the hour of the Lords return. So if the timing is post-Trib how can this be a knowable day? If it is the Scripture should tell us.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

So this is happening immediately after the Tribulation. Let’s continue:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (KJV)

These two verses tell us what happens immediately after the Tribulation, but they do not give us the number of days involved in the sun moon and Stars not shining. This darkening occurs immediately, but the idea of our knowing this if we still remain is revealing. The world is now in chaos. Armageddon is still raging men’s hearts are failing. There is now no light, and we don’t know and are not told just how long this condition will exist, because Jesus did not tell us.

Listen vs 30 states “and then” twice after the sun moon and stars darkening, but again no time frame. In order for one to see the effect of this darkening at least one and possibly more days would be involved, as the sun moon and stars have gone dark.

We know that in Daniel we are told:

Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (KJV)

We know that the Great Tribulation lasts 1290 days as a stated number, and that after the sacrifices cease in the middle of the 7 week period, there then are more days. So what happens during the 45 days after tribulation? We are not given any detail. Jesus obviously comes during that time, but does that mean that the rapture occurs 45 days after the Tribulation? I don’t think so. This statement would mean that those who died for Jesus were less blessed than those who lived until this 1345th day. And again, we are not to know the day or hour of His coming.

Hear is what we do know that is happening between the 1290th day and the 1335th day. The Sun moon and stars darken; the sign appears for His coming; the people morn; the people actually see Him in the heavens. Listen:

Revelation 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV)

We are not told what the actual sign of His coming is, but whatever it is it causes mankind who do not know and expect Him, to flee to the mountains.

So the whole earth is now aware that He is coming in wrath. They certainly don’t say these things, and take this action at the beginning of Tribulation. Tribulation doesn’t reveal Him to the world. It reveals Antichrist. This certainly doesn’t happen in the middle of Tribulation, because Antichrist is declared as God by men at that time; and Antichrist is followed and worshiped by the world. The world is not hiding from Him until after the end of the Tribulation. It is then that hiding from the wrath of the Lamb is in the minds of men who are seeing Him. Every eye will see Him.

So what else is happening during these 45 days following Tribulation. Israel is saved before He returns. (Hosea 5:15; Isa. 63:1-6).

I will go away and return to My place Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me. Hosea 5:15 NASB

Jesus at this very time appointed by His Father as seen in this verse will do His saving of Israel; and it is in the midst of Armageddon as recorded in Isaiah 63. He does this, He says without the help of any man. In fact no man is with Him. He is alone. He then returns in Glory, following the saving of Israel’s remnant, and He is in the same robes dipped in the blood of this Isa. 63 battle. Read it. He then completes His wrath even as He is returning, and just following His return; then somewhere beyond this begins His Judgment of Nations Matt. 25.

I believe that it is about this Judgment of nations that Daniel writes not fully understanding what he was told: Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (KJV)

This, the nations judgment, divides sheep from goats both representing people groups who have not either returned with nor were they part of the rapture. The goats are destroyed after this judgment they are cast into hell. The sheep nations are the last people allowed in after the resurrection. They enter the kingdom and they do this as mortal men. They are allowed in based upon their works. They are to be ruled over by Christ and His Bride.

So it would seem that these are the blessed who come to the 1335th day. I would propose that the goat nations were sentenced on the 1334th day to the lake of fire. I can think of no other reason why it would be important to last as a mortal man on earth until the 1335th day which is 45 days beyond Tribulation. And why is it important to only some? Listed again:

Daniel 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (KJV)

Hopefully you see my point.

So given all of this no one can know the exact day or the hour of Our Lord’s Second coming. Jesus Himself obviously knew the details of His coming, but not the day itself. Yet, we know that it is a set and a still future day. We are to look for it as we are doing, by knowing the word concerning it. Nowhere are we told to look to the sky for His coming until we see The the signs.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (KJV)

It will be dark all over the earth when that day comes.

If this message has any meaning it is because the word of God is our teacher. Thanks for visiting.
