You may think that I am overstating something here, but it is necessary — Why? Because many are not listening.
What Amir Tsarfati did in yesterdays shared video was to abandon pre-Trib dispensational theory on what they say constitutes salvation during the Tribulation. The pre-Trib Theology that I was raised on; the Theology that I was taught when attending Liberty University does not agree with What he stated as the basis for Israel’s salvation. I was taught that with the coming Tribulation God turns His attention back to Israel and that salvation reverts back to that method which God had used to save Israel before Christ first came, the emphasis will then be on their acceptance of Jesus as their King, having previously rejected and had crucified Him. That thinking took root because of their belief that the Holy Spirit is removed with the church in the Rapture; reverting to Old Testament Holy Spirit interaction. So basically salvation’s method reverts back in time, and the Gospel becomes the Gospel of the kingdom. This is still taught in some circles. This is not what was taught in yesterdays shared message. Do I agree with Amir that the gospel of Jesus God’s Son is the only way to the new birth and salvation? — Yes and amen. That acceptance of Jesus is the only promise of future resurrection, and that resurrection must precede the Rapture.
A second point that must be understood is the Scriptural teaching on this age. Nowhere in scripture is there any mention of a Church age. Jesus when speaking of the resurrection to the Jews recognized only two ages. This age and the next. Are there more ages? — yes, but only two were important to Jesus and thus to us. The first is this age of death, marriage and giving in marriage. The second is the Age to which the resurrection takes us out of that age. If the next age were a church age, would Jesus have left it out not only here but in all of His teaching? Listen:
and they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, leaving a wife, and he is childless, that his brother is to marry the wife and raise up children for his brother. Therefore, in the resurrection, which one’s wife does the woman become? For all seven married her.” Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, for they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Luke.20: 28-36NASB
If there is a church age why is it not mentioned anywhere in Scripture? Considering what is in Scripture: how do these get to be “sons of God”, when they are Jews who are asking this question? Jesus taught that He is the rock upon which His Church is built and that He is the only means of salvation, which alone makes one worthy to attain to the resurrection. There is no other way for a man to be saved and Amir knows that. That truth alone makes the Rapture post-Trib
For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
1Thess.4.15 – 17 NASB
Amir’s statement that Israel must be saved by Christ is the final nail in the pre-Trib doctrine’s coffin. I’m not telling you that, but Paul is. He is the Holy Spirits communicator on all aspects of this doctrine of Rapture.
