so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.” (NASB2020)

Practicing the Truth

Truth in this sense can be paradoxical for this world, but obviously not unattainable. Jesus we know was rejected and despised by men. Yet He was and for us He held forth all Truth concerning God’s plan. He offers it even for those who reject it.

The logic of this world ignores truth, because the world mindset counters truth with its distorted wisdom. Jesus called this deception and warned us against it. This is why Jesus spoke of this worlds god as the liar and the father of lies.

In case you hadn’t noticed, deceptive propaganda is at the heart of this worlds leaders and their attempts to influence and control mankind.

Truth has always been the enemy of tyranny. Tyrants must control the narrative. There can be no freedom of thought allowed by a tyrannical regime, because truth is exposed when people are allowed to seek after and discover facts. These facts lead to truth.

The truth is not an unknown to us, but it so often is hidden below some often sinister surface. Finding truth takes effort. It requires an inner strength, not just your own, in order that you withstand the fiery darts of the enemy. The truth sets us free.

Men who search for and expose truth most often pay a great price in the world where truth is a precious commodity.

You will know them by their fruit. If they hide and oppose the seeking for and telling of the truth; then avoid their wisdom, for you know it’s source. If they offer to buy your loyalty then oppose them. By all means pray for their soul and against their destructive actions. Work for the night comes when no man can work.
