I’m not in any way an expert on AI, but it certainly is a sign of our times.

Daniel 12:8 But as for me, I heard but did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what [will be] the outcome of these [events?]” 9 And he said, “Go [your way,] Daniel, for [these] words [will be] kept secret and sealed up until the end time. 10 “Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

“Insight” is not about knowing everything about everything, but about knowing the one who created everything, even knowing that some of what He created would be used for evil.

Insight is the realization from His word, that our day is the only time in history when it has become possible for knowledge to expand beyond the capabilities of human understanding.

Daniel 12:2 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace [and] everlasting contempt. 3 “And those who have insight will shine like the glow of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4 “But as for you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal up the book until the end of time; many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.” (NASB2020)

AI is all about an increased knowledge, a mushrooming increase, that is scary even to those involved with it. They should be scared, when men who do not know God attempt to be god, the dangers are obvious. Evil programmed into this knowledge will only expand this evil.

So we live in this time when as the original text in Danial translates — men are running to and fro in the earth, and knowledge is greatly increasing. God is in this, for God not only knew this 2500 years ago, but He is in this in the now, because we are in a time when many who sleep in the dust of the earth will be awakened. These times will bring great Tribulation as His word has told us. AI and other expanses of knowledge are all parts of that scenario.

Where is God? — He is working in us and through us to use us in these last days of His creation.

The question in your mind should be: do I understand? If not, He is as near as your calling out to Him. Who do you say that I am? — Jesus is asking.
