As Christians we are love; to understand and teach — love our neighbor, and help meet their needs. Meaning that we are to support them when they are in trouble. If we have a grievance or take up a grievance on the part of another, we are to take it to the judge. Never are we to encourage our neighbor to take vengeance for himself, nor are we to take vengeance. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

We are to pray for our neighbor and for the authorities over us. The authority is placed there by God for our protection.

We are not accountable for our fathers sin unless we make it our own by committing same, then it is ours and we own it. In which case we should repent of it. Turn from it and make whatever restitution is necessary.

How does this apply to a National sin? Can one person take up responsibility for a national sin? The obvious answer is no. One person or group of persons, who have been given recognition of that sin can only become a prophet of God to speak out against it. If the message is heard revival can result in the country. Revival begins with God’s people, if the nation follows, the problem is resolved. Today many are seeing racism as America’s greatest sin. For decades many have seen Abortion as Americans greatest sin, but Christianity did not join in and repent of these sins. Instructions and understanding were not given out from the pulpits regarding these sins. Revival did not occur within the church and thus it could not within the nation. The same is true for racism, as for Abortion. Individuals can repent and preach it but until the church has revival concerning all of these sins there can be no national healing.

What is our charge when there is no revival? If you are called by God to repent and are burdened; then you are called to be God’s messenger, (a prophet), a voice in the wilderness, a watchman on the wall. You are not called to lead violence. When God’s people do not repent and hear His prophet and yield to His Spirit within them, there is surely judgment coming on that nation. The watchman is to proclaim that that judgment is coming. When it comes it will not miss the body of Christ. Daniel was taken into Captivity along with most of those in Israel. Those left in the land suffered under the rule of their captors. Their lives were permanently changed.

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (NASB)

1 Peter 4:17 For [it is] time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if [it] [begins] with us first, what [will be] the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? (NASB)

1 Peter 4:18 AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER? (NASB)

1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, (NASB)

1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, (NASB)

If Racism is a national sin and Abortion is a national sin; then rebellion against the king is also a national sin. This country has engaged in that sin from its inception. We have had those opposed to authority throughout our history. This raises the question — is being a prophet rebellion against authority? Obviously not — we are to obey God not man. We are to speak for God, and His truth, even when we do not have the freedom to speak, regardless of the consequences.

The world and this nation are in the process of being handed over to Satan’s control, but you are not to worry, for this must come before Jesus shall return to reign.

If you are not yet in Him, today is still the day of salvation. Call upon Him while it is still day, for the night cometh when no man can work. What does that mean? There is a darkness coming over the whole earth. It will begin with evil’s spread, and then; The Sun will not shine, nor the moon nor the stars. Jesus told us of this time that is coming, as did Joel, Isaiah and others of the prophets before Him. These were speaking for Him and of our day. Read about it in Matt. 24.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. (NASB)

2 Thessalonians 2:2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for [it will not come] unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, (NASB)

Apostasy is on the rise in our day. It will lead to a government that will give rise to this Antichrist figure, who will hate Christ and His people. We are called to stand in the evil day.

And they overcame him but the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony and loved not their lives unto death.

Even so come quickly Lord J
