You shall know them by their fruit. But their fruit at times must be tasted in order to determine it’s true flavor. A steady diet of the fruit of the beast will lead to total domination and slavery.
The word “beast” is used in apocalyptic writings, such as in Daniel and Revelation, where it refers to kings and kingdoms. I’ve written concerning these before. I observed one writer recently stating that “These may but do not necessarily reveal a behavior more like a wild beast than a human being created in God’s image”.
Titus 1:12 One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” (NASB)
Daniel 7:17 ‘These great beasts, which are four [in number,] are four kings [who] will arise from the earth. (NASB)
As we think about our world and the things that powerful men have done to their citizenry, then we can easily understand why God calls men and their kingdoms by this term (beast). Those in positions of power (kings, dictators, Presidents, congressional leaders, Business leaders and the Media) can develop “delusions of grandeur,” thinking they are god-like. Deceived concerning death and considering themselves not accountable to God or anyone else.
Are we experiencing today this depravity (moral corruption; wickedness) of mankind towards other human beings among our own leadership? When considering even state governors and mayors and some of our judges responses to this virus situation, it appears they have no limit. It seems when evil men are given an excessive amount of money, power and authority, they fall into the beast mentality. Men who follow deception fall into the same trap that was found in the deceiver himself.
Isaiah 14:13 “But you said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. 14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ (NASB)
These men do not realize what awaits them:
Isaiah 14:9 “Sheol from beneath is excited over you to meet you when you come; It arouses for you the spirits of the dead, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones. 10 “They will all respond and say to you, ‘Even you have been made weak as we, You have become like us. 11 ‘Your pomp [and] the music of your harps Have been brought down to Sheol; Maggots are spread out [as your bed] beneath you And worms are your covering.’ (NASB)
Deception and intrigue is prevalent among today’s politicians and leaders. It will be a major trait of the Antichrist (Dan. 8:24-25, 11:21 23, 27, 32).
Certainly these today’s leaders are some of those referred to as “beasts” in the scriptures (2 Peter 2:12, Jude 10, Titus 1:12).
There have been many leaders in the last century displaying the characteristics of the biblical beasts. They are good at misleading and deceiving those they rule over through carefully crafted lies, distortion and propaganda. These leaders come to power often by overthrowing an existing government. They in recent times will solidify their power base through corrupt elections or by taking advantage of an ignorant voter population. They gain control over the media and use various propaganda schemes. This scenario is now in full view in our America. These beasts are not all in the government as you can see. Monetary power and control has been gained by businessmen with excessive influence over these forces.
This beast that is now arising is a multifaceted multiplicity of heads which will make up a system of satanically directed controls on society.
Daniel 7:7 “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. (NASB)
A response to this beast that is now forming seems to have been given. Trump has been placed by God to hinder this rise, so that more men can experience the grace of God in their lives. If the take down of beasts which seems to be surely coming is successful we may actually see some additional good years, especially if the revival takes. Don’t miss that opportunity. On day this evil shall rise, and from it shall arise the last beast:
Daniel 7:8 “While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great [boasts.] (NASB)
And then the end shall come:
Daniel 7:11 “Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire. (NASB)
No beast will remain among the nations following our Lord’s return.
