Jesus said: “I came that you may have life and have it abundant.”

He said: “No one takes my life but I lay it down for my sheep.”

“No one comes to the Father but through me.”

“I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am you will be also.”

Has He prepared your place?

I am older now and death takes place often in the community where we live. Just this week I stood on Monday talking to Jim, and yesterday on Thursday I received word of his passing. Sometimes after death occurs I wonder will I ever see ______ again? At other times I know for sure I will see them again. So why the doubts with some and the assurance with others? None are perfect, so why?

Most of them speak the name of Jesus, although there are those few who would never utter his name. These obviously do not know Him. And with those who do speak His name, with some it is in vein, and with others it is in adoration.

So what each one does with Jesus is the real difference. But, how can I be certain that those for whom I have questions are at least given the opportunity to hear? I want them to know this good news that this one man Jesus will give them what He promised, and that we together can know that we will spend eternity together.

I have been given a platform in the form of two books that I have written, but not everyone that I know desires to or will read those books.

I can write this post, I can place it on Facebook, but not all will read it. In fact, it is not up to me to or to you to see to it that they all hear. Jesus also, said: “no man comes to me except the Father call him”. I do what He encourages me to do, but it is not about me, it is about Him.

If anything that is stated here speaks to you, it is the Father who is calling you not me. Do I want you to hear — yes. Can I force you to hear — no. Neither will He force you to hear.
