Then All Israel Will Be Saved

When Is The OliveTree Complete?

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name. Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.

Psalm 33:20-22 NASB

In David’s time there was a longing for the Lord, we have longed much the same in our time. But over the years in Israel’s time that longing abated in most. In our day we are following much the same path.

When I was a child I remember being amazed when during the Sunday evening family gatherings the men would all be on the big front Porch discussing the soon coming of the Lord.

Is this happening today? Not really. Why did Israel miss Messiah’s first coming? They were in essence looking for Him, but He was not who they expected.

I am amazed today for very different reasons. There is still the rather large group looking for Him to appear to catch them out of this world and the last 7 years of man’s history, but on the other hand there is a great number of those who say that what Jesus stated in Matthew 24 is complete in past history. And most of these are not expecting a literal Tribulation and purging before the Lord comes.

But there is still a Remnant who seeks for an understanding of the days which are sure to come before the Lords return.

Just as there was a Remnant among the Jews who lead the Gentiles to the Messiah, so also in this day before the Messiah comes again there will be a Remnant from the Gentiles who will lead Israel back to her Messiah during Great Tribulation . Then scripture tells us that after the Tribulation of those days He will then defeat His enemies the last enemy being death itself. When He has placed all things under His feet then He will hand all over to the Father (1 Corinthians 15), and there will be new heavens and a new 🌏 earth, and then the bride, the new Jerusalem, will come down and God will take up His abide with us (Rev. 21). It is then that we who are one new man (Eph 2,3,and 4) will occupy our heavenly home with David and our Father.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 23:6 NASB

The house of the Lord is not our home until we occupy it there with David in the New Jerusalem. One new man. We are one new man today and that will never change. Then all Israel will be saved.
