“Convergence—the coming-together of practically every signal for the end of the age—is upon this generation. Developments north of Israel at the present moment are possibly the most significant of all of the signals that Christ’s Second Advent is near.
Since that great event will take place at least seven years later than the Rapture of the Church, we who name the name of Jesus should be in a state of anticipation of, not in fear of things to come.”

When you see all these things begin to come to pass, then, look up and lift up your head, for your redemption is drawing near. (Luke 21:28). (Underlining emphasis is mine)”
I lifted this quote including this scripture from Terry James site terryjamesprophecyline.com

Interesting that Terry states that Christ’s second advent is near and yet takes exception to the fact that it is in this very event, the Second Coming, where our redemption culminates.
Pre-Trib advocates have been announcing the nearness of the Rapture for my entire lifetime and long before, yet have been saying that it is not connected to the actual coming of Jesus to this earth. It in fact, they tell us is an overhanging event that has been imminent ever since the days of the early church fathers, and that there are no signs signaling the Rapture itself. And this fact they say explains why Jesus stated that He comes quickly, and why the writers of scripture stated His nearness in their writings.
But now today we are hearing that the Rapture is near because the Second Coming is near. Of course this also means if true that the Tribulation is near. But is there 7 years between the Rapture and the second coming? Does what Paul tells The Thessalonians about the Rapture say this? Listen to what He says: For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (THE RAPTURE). And so shall we ever be with the Lord. But as to the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night (HERE HE LETS US KNOW THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD IS THE TIME OF THE RAPTURE WHEN JESUS COMES AS A THEIF). 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17,5:1-2
In 2 Thessalonians He is making sure they understand what he told them.

Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him (THE TIMING OF THE RAPTURE), that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord (AGAIN THE TIMING OF THE RAPTURE Go back and look at 1 Thessalonians ) has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (THE DAY OF THE LORD THE TIME OF THE RAPTURE) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God (THIS IS IN OTHER WORDS THE ONE WHO BRINGS IN THE TRIBULATION AND HE MUST COME BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD — THE RAPTURE). Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

2 Thessalonians 2:1-5
So my friends it is true that when the culmination of prophetic scripture draws near, then your redemption also draws near; but one of Daniel’s signs for this event was also Jesus’ sign, and Paul’s sign. That sign is the Tribulation that immediately preceded the coming of the Lord to resurrect the dead and Rapture those who remain.
If Terry James is right about prophecies culmination, then are you ready? This is not about fear as Terry would seem to imply, this is about being aware of the times and preparation for the battle. Paul states put on the full armor of Christ that you may be able to stand in the evil day.
