The Answer to this young Lady’s question is: Yes the Jews today are the same Jews as those in Scripture. 

So modern Israel is the same Israel that God in the Old Testament had told us He would bring back to the land in the latter days.  

They were not saved when they were returned.  They have not yet all found their true Messiah, who is revealed in Isa. 53 and elsewhere in the Old Testament Scripture.  But for this reason they have been returned.  They will come to Him one day in the future.  Before that happens, God is loosing the restraint on the evils of this earth. 

Israel must recognize and call on her Messiah to deliver them from this coming evil world, which is very much present and in our midst today.  They unfortunately will not believe or be brought to belief easily. Right now they continue to be blinded by their own unbelief. It is unfortunate but Israel will incur a war that will bring them a major defeat. Two-Thirds of the nation is said in Zachariah chapter 13 to die in and around that war, but it will happen that the result for those remaining will be their own Spiritual awakening, that itself brings the return of their Christ. 

The exact scenario is not completely revealed in Scripture, but we do have bits of information, which will be incorporated into this final revival to take place before Jesus will return to this earth.  And these facts are scattered within the Scriptures.  

Jesus is speaking here in Hosea:

Hosea 5:15  I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. (KJV)

Jesus had died for Israel’s sins as well as for our own when He came 2000 years ago.  He has returned to His Father, where He intercedes for us at this present time.  But in Hosea He provides us with the understanding that Israel must in effect set in motion the events of His return.  They must acknowledge their offense and seek His face.  The event that likely will lead to that action is the purging of the nation spoken of in Zachariah 13:

Zechariah 13:8  And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  9  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. (KJV)

Again we hear that “they shall call on my name, and I will hear them”.   If we read on into Chapter 14, we learn that the war that is likely the cause of this refining of the nation is Armageddon, when: “ I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle”.  We are told by Jesus in Matthew that people will be fleeing the city in the days before His coming.  The Scripture is not clear as to what group or groups are eliminated. Is it those who would remain in the city.  Is it the captured and removed from the city; or is it the group that fled the city; those who Jesus told about who would flee when they see the Abomination of desolation stand in the Holy place, which Paul says will be in the Temple.  This last group is the most talked about group, which is thought to be spared unto the end.  They are said to have fled to Petra by some.  They are thought to be those who will see Jesus as He is said to come up from Edom in Isa. 63: 1-6, just before He returns to Earth with His saints.  The exact scenario is not known, but we can know that these are Israel and that they will be saved to complete the bride and bring back the Messiah.  

By the time this happens Israel will stand alone.  There will be no power such as the United States to support them.  

In case you hadn’t noticed the United States is no longer Unites.  All,  in fact, that it seems that it will take is a reinstatement of the Democrat Party, by whatever means, into national rule, and then the Mamdani’s of this country will take control.  If the military is no longer a threat to Islam, but instead an ally; then the Trojan horse currently inside our borders will strike from the weak underbelly that brought them here.  When will this happen?  I do not know, I only know that it is written, and thus it will happen.
