You are forewarned:

Today in the midst of a woke society, this may even be sacrilegious thought.  But some of this thinking in these verses I’m about to share will come from a man, who is called by God; a man after Gods own heart.

These lists are in no wise exhaustive. And, I’m not going to contrast this point which is Jesus’ admonition to love our enemies; but I will before the end of this post.  And then we have verses on God abhorring certain people.

These are not all of such verses, but enough for us to consider. So what is to be our understanding from such as this?  And what is my point?   I possibly think and some will I’m sure agree me to be, too much, like a prophet, but I can’t ignore God’s revealed thinking.  I’m not a legalist as were the Sanhedrin.  Because that would be hypocritical, for I like you am a sinner saved by grace.

My point is can we afford to disregard God’s own thinking on man’s sin.  It would seem that sin, left to its own devices, will certainly bring down God’s wrath at some point.  I believe that God’s wrath; because He is so long suffering, must be considered to be one of the most disrespected and overlooked truths of Scripture. But, it will be overlooked at the unconverted’s own peril.  And I believe, that to not tell such a one his potential fate is a greater sin on the part of the churches; and therefore on our part, who would support such a church; than it would be to not do so.  In fact, I believe it would be more so, a sin were we not to warn such a one; than it would be, to be seen by this one as being hateful toward them, even as the prophets were seen in their day as being hateful and even wrong.  Jesus, who we know  is our creator through John’s gospel says: that we are to love even our enemies. What He does not do is to give us in that statement what He means by love. He, as is His M.O., has left it to us to seek out His meaning of this term love.  If we use Jesus as our example we must know that He did not come to make every man happy with Him.  He did things that in fact got Him crucified.  He made men angry. He spoke the truth. Yet He died for every one of them, who would turn around and become a believer a follower, and I believe that such lovers of our fellow man should be we.

If you are unable to understand that, I will be happy to dialog more with you concerning love.
