Again

Yesterday we looked at the prophetic concerning the feast days.  These times are yet to come. Preceding them are the signs given by Jesus in the gospels concerning His coming.  I have been reminding you the reader that if Jesus is coming as He stated; then these signs are also coming as He stated. We His people are the purveyors of His gospel and of His own prophetic words.  Sometimes proclaiming His word is seen to be dark.  So we must always spread the light of His word amidst the darkness of our times. 

Jesus is the light of the world. He is the lover of your soul. He loved you so much that He came knowing why He had come:

 John 13:1  Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. (NASB1995)

Remember Jesus fulfilled this His final Passover on earth, as the sacrifice Lamb, dying for us, and He knew His mission. If you are not watching the chosen you are missing an amazing and likely final presentation of the gospel to this world. 

Jesus knew His mission:

John 13:18  “I do not speak of all of you. I know the ones I have chosen; but [it is] that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘HE WHO EATS MY BREAD HAS LIFTED UP HIS HEEL AGAINST ME.’ (NASB1995)

He knew who it was who would betray Him. He also had stated:

John 10:17  “For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again.  18  “No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.” (NASB1995)

Jesus came with the purpose of being the Passover lamb, who takes away our sin. Our believing and taking up our abode in Him is our only work in our salvation, because it is Jesus who has purchased for us this life for eternity. Give Him your life, and trust it to Him.
