World War III is now being tossed around these days. Israel is preparing for a seven fronted war.
The above titled question thus should be a very important one that needs to be considered. We are in the Middle East with naval power that would have been a major deterrent in days gone by. So are these vessels of power still seen that way by our enemies?
Consider: America has basically made ourselves an enemy of war to Russia in more than one way in recent years. First Russia was accused of joining with Trump in the theft of an election in 2016. The party that charged Russia is now in power. Secondly, we are very much involved in a major war opposing them in Ukraine. Thirdly, they are in possession of a supersonic missile system for which there currently is no defense from our own military. Fourthly, Russia is allied with Iran.
Then there is another problem: we are there in the Middle East in support of Israel, who is as it now would appear to soon be involved in a this potential seven fronted war with the Arabs. Part of that threat is due to the weakness of American leadership. Should that war happen to escalate, we will be drawn to intercede on Israel’s behalf. We will be waring with Russia’s Allies. In that scenario. It would take only a dozen Russian Missiles to dismantle America’s navel presence in the Middle East and at the same time kill thousands of our naval military. The U.S. unlike it was at the outset of World War II, is without the industrial complex needed, not to mention the mental fortitude within this woke military and our younger WOKE society from whence recruits must be drawn. What then shall we actually mount as a defense for our nation.
You may say: that’s wrong for we do have a military industrial complex. And you are correct we do, but just how many of those missiles are needed to remove that resource as well. We have no defense for these Russian weapons. And we are engaging these people in war. You had better be praying that we are soon given good leadership, and that the Lord‘s protection would be upon us until such time as we need wise leaders for a deterrent to such a war.

And Then Messiah Shall Come 
The full revelation of the “lawless one” is coming to pass. It is God verdict… all the nations will experience the chaos of his tyranical dominion… America will fall into the horror of its own ways, the godlessness stemming from its pride and departure from Him must bring God’s judgment upon her. God always raises up other nations to bring His judgment… nations who know not God. It has been the history of Him with His people.
“You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities…”
Truth brings accountability and His church has played much of the harlot in our land, she has compromised His ways for the world and has become a politically charge carnal minded people who have ceased to reveal HIM and has involved herself with the “affairs of this life” rather than being sanctified unto Him.
Luk 12:46 But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,
Luk 12:46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful.
Luk 12:47 And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating.
Luk 12:48 But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
It is upon His servants who know the day and yet who did not act according to His will who receive a worst judgment than those who knew not His will. It is a day for us to be instructed, a day to humble ourselves and comprehend that the reason all of this is coming to us is because we have failed to hold and shine the light of Him as we ought. The judgment is coming and has now already began… It is God who has decreed this and woe to those who stand against His righteous decrees.
“Every knee shall bow” it is incomprehensible to me to think we do not deserve the wrath of Him for what we have done with His glory and Holiness.
“On that day you shall not be put to shame because of the deeds by which you have rebelled against me; for then I will remove from your midst your proudly exultant ones, and you shall no longer be haughty in my holy mountain. But I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the LORD,” Zep 3:11-12
Until the people of God stop pointing their fingers at everything and everyone else and begin with soberness of heart to consider our own haughtiness we will discover little of His glory and His movings in our midst.

Brian, I find nothing wrong with your understanding of where we are. I fully expect this nation to be punished should we not humble ourselves as His people before Him. We have not availed for ourselves His power to become victorious over our sins. And the world around has grown cold because they do not see God in His professing body. It is difficult to tell the believer from the one he seeks to win. Oh how we need God’s Spirit to overflow His people in these present moments. We must have the strength and courage to end well. Fully trusting in Him, for the battle is the Lords.
