What does that mean? In this world we have it. We may have even greater?

Romans 8:35 What will separate us from the love Christ has for us? Can trouble, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or violent death separate us from his love? 36 As Scripture says: “We are being killed all day long because of you. We are thought of as sheep to be slaughtered.” (GOD’S WORD)

I sometimes think that we have been so blessed in this country that we are unable to understand the reality of the real world around us. Christ was and is hated by the same world that He died for, and to think that we should not be comes to us from indoctrination against what Scripture teaches us to expect as believers.

Most of the church today in the Western world just does not care that tribulation is coming. Half of those who don’t care have listened to the prophets and Q, and they believe that God has it. God does have it.

He has proclaimed it in His word: exactly what this generation will be confronted with. He has this season’s Christian believers all figured out. He tells us about the last generation in His book. He knew from the foundation of the earth, who would come to these days standing against the enemy of God with their full armor on and He knew which ones would fold in the midst of these enemies and their often subtle onslaught. To win we must be with Him (abiding in Him) all the way.

The other half of those believers who don’t care what they see coming, actually find themselves excited and loving what they see signing for a future Tribulation, and they think that all of this means that Jesus is coming to Rapture them out of the fight. They did not sign up for what is coming. Few of us believers realize that we are in a Spiritual battle that will end with great casualties. And the reason is complacency on the part of the many.

Do you not know that you are in a battle for the truth of the gospel? You are in a battle for the souls of your loved ones; for the souls of your friends. Parents must fight against the evil coming for their children. Pastors must fight against the evil coming for their congregation. This is not a mere political battle. This is a full fledged spiritual war. The battle is fought on our knees.

Jesus said “when I return will I find faith upon the earth.” A people who do not recognize their time will fail in their faith mission.

Romans 11:18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, [remember that] it is not you who supports the root, but the root [supports] you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. (NASB2020)

Thinking oneself to be entitled is the perfect set up for a fall. Rom. 8:36 As Scripture says: “We are being killed all day long because of you. The “you” in the scripture is Christ. Paul says here in the remainder of this verse: “We are thought of as sheep to be slaughtered.” (GOD’S WORD)

Jesus said: “if they have hated Me they will hate you “
