“Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be given birth all at once?
Although this is a Scriptural message concerning our future home with Christ in Israel, where He is to rule over the mortal nations; (and the government shall be upon His shoulders), still it ironically seems to also apply in reverse to our land here in America, and to our world, which has had the gospel preached to every nation. For in these days we are observing our country (the last bastion of freedom) giving birth to an evil which apparently must come before Christ will return to establish His government.
Each step that I have watched in this process although a shock to the system, yet should not have been an unexpected shock. For these days of evil prevailing over good on a very temporary basis are prophetic. They should not surprise any of us.
Yet, it is difficult to give up on hope in this mortal life, because hope resides where the Spirit of the Lord dwells within His people, but our hope has never been in this world, but in the world to come. In the creator of this universe. The resurrection and His coming is our blessed hope. The only promise of this world is the grinding of our mortal life into dust.
Though it is true that the souls of man can live on forever apart from God (should God grant that sentence for them); yet that life apart from God will only see the torment that evil will unleash without the restraint that only God can place upon it. Men who wish for and assist with the creation of a transhuman life on this earth will only find that life to be for them an eternal hell. A life of torment apart from God and the good that He has created.
May God have mercy upon your souls, you who follow Satan’s plan to be as God is without Him in your existence.
For us who love His Appearance, it will be as the light that overcomes the darkness when He does appear in the glory of His person to put away the evil.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
