This is a repost from 2017 of the second part of a 5 part series. This is to wet your appetite for digging in.

But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.(Romans 2:29 NASB).

For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “ through Isaac your descendants will be named.” That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants. And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory, even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles. As He says also in Hosea, “ I will call those who were not My people, ‘My people,’ And her who was not beloved, ‘beloved .’” “ And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God .”Romans 9:3-4,6-8,23-26 – NASB

These verses are also foundational to our inclusion in the Commonwealth of Israel as were those viewed in part 1. Understanding that our oneness is with the saints who were part of the church in the wilderness which is Israel, as we will see in part 3 of this series, this erases all doubt about when the resurrection will take place. This is he (Moses), who in the church (ekklessia) in the wilderness was with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers—the one who received the living oracles to give unto us,Acts 7:38 KJ21

With all of this as foundation we can now see when we will be resurrected and Raptured in relation to Israel’s salvation. Because her salvation leads to the completion of the Bride.

While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called portico of Solomon, full of amazement. But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk? “And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also. But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.Acts 3:11-12,17-21 NASB

The message is prophetic as to what will be the final act by Israel which will bring Jesus back from heaven. Israel’s salvation, her repentance and her return to her Messiah will fulfill the end-Times prophecies and bring about the consummation of things. (See my Sept 25th Article MESSIAH STAINS HIS GARMENTS ISAIAH 63)

Is there further Scriptural confirmation that Israel’s salvation will bring about the resurrection and Rapture? Now if Israel’s transgression means riches for the world [at large] and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment and reinstatement be! For if their [present] rejection [of salvation] is for the reconciliation of the world [to God], what will their acceptance [of salvation] be but [nothing less than] life from the dead?Romans 11:12,15 AMP

Israel’s salvation brings reconciliation to the world, and life from the dead to all who are saved. Just as Peter stated it in his Acts sermon. This is the blessed hope of all believers from the time of Christ onward. We will in Part 3 determine exactly when this is to occur in relation to Jesus’ second coming.

I suggest that you go back to part 1, and then study the remaining parts 3-5. God bless as you do your due diligence. Jp
