Think about that for as long as you need. Just in case you missed my last post. Sometimes it takes a different headline to really get your attention. We are told that the gays are less than 1% in this land and although that was I’m sure once true, somehow I doubt that it still is. If you want to know the truth to the above question then you need to watch this less than <2 minute video. Please don’t let them tell you that there is no agenda. We can love people in spite of their sin, but to allow them to bask in their sin is not really loving them.

Jesus when talking with the disciples stated this: Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. (NASB2020)

Unfortunately in our world there are many deceivers. We find them in every walk of life including within our churches and our government. If we really want to follow Jesus we need to read and comprehend everything that He and His disciples stated, and not allow deceivers to take things out of the context of the whole cloth. This needs to be our method when dealing with a given subject, such as this one.

Jesus stated in: Mark 10:6 “But from the beginning of creation, [God] CREATED THEM MALE AND FEMALE. (NASB2020)

1 Timothy 1:8-11

8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.

9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,

10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine

11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

Homosexuality is emphasized here, but in other places Adultery is emphasized by him. Both are sin. Yet, no one goes around advocating for teaching your children how to commit adultery. If you’re a believer and you have committed adultery you repent and ask forgiveness. For some reason gender sin does not want to repent, and believe what you may, but God will not forgive what is not repented of.

Leviticus 18:22

22 “ ‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

Romans 1:32

32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 1:27

27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

God makes clear His view on gender and sex. What is unnatural is sin; adultery is sin, as is homosexuality and Abortion. Turning to God from sin is the only way to follow Christ. For a nation to turn toward sin is to see God’s hand turn against that nation. We are on a dangerous precipice. Don’t be fooled one cannot follow Christ and our governments present direction as well.
