2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (KJV)
What is “this cause”?
Many Bible students in our day have wondered, and written their thoughts about just how it could be, that though we seem headed full bore into end times events according to scripture, where there is seemingly no mention of the United States, that, yet, the US could be so dominant on the world scene.
Well that was the thinking not so far in the past. The world is now turning away from an incompetent US Leadership. A leadership that has effectively bankrupt its own economy. This to a point where recovery may not be possible.
And the rest of the world is becoming much less confident in the goodness of this once amazing continent. We are no Longer considered by world leaders to be the envy of other nations, we have succumbed to the world, and left our moral moorings, and we are no longer respected by our enemies, thus we are possibly without friends.
The world is now looking elsewhere for leadership. What it is finding is not going to bode well for free men and women anywhere on this planet. Men who have totally rejected God, who have sold their soles in order gain the world. They have bought into a Satanic deception that they can somehow use the computer and science to live in virtual reality forever. The age of the human as God created it is rapidly passing away.
Satan deceived Adam, and he is now pulling off his greatest deception of all. He may actually be himself deceived to think that he is still capable of rising above the most high God. Man has taken up his vision.
Man is devolving in his thinking. He instead of recognizing that without God he is incapable of ever remaining compatible with creation; instead believes himself to be its savior. He thinks that it is he, who will not only save the earth, but humanity as well. He will control it all through science. It involves computers and oh yes, the depopulation of earth. His vision is the integration of man with machine. He believes that there will be no more free will for this robotic man that he is creating.
His one fatal oversight is the pure evil that takes hold in the mind when man attempts to exist apart from God and His restraint, and His blessing.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: (KJV)
Are you beginning to understand “this cause”? And what then shall be their end?
2 Thessalonians 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (KJV)
Today is the day of God’s salvation. It will too soon pass. It’s God’s way or man’s way; which will you follow?
