For years I’ve heard that Babylon will once again rise up only to be destroyed at the end of time. In the book “False Security” published for me in 1993, I floated the concept that this prophecy concerning a Mystery, just may imply that the U.S. could actually be the fulfillment of this prophecy. At that time this country was not so engaged in a godless one worldism, as it most certainly is today. Understand when I say that, I’m not referring to the people, but to its Established elites, in both Government and Business. These after all support the destructive forces being offered our citizenry and the world. The drug trafficking and sex trafficking being not just allowed but promoted by the policies of this progressive elite. We are the number one exporter of pornography today in the world. We have become a drug culture.
Today I hear others alluding to this possibility that this Nation fits in many ways the Revelation description of this Mystery entity. We are surrounded by water. Babylon is not. The U.S. has been the home of the worlds consumer population because of so great wealth. It in the past has been able to help feed a starving third world.
All of that will change if The U.S. is Mystery Babylon, listen:
Revelation 14:6 I saw another angel flying overhead with the everlasting Good News to spread to those who live on earth-to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7 The angel said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the time has come for him to judge. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs.” 8 Another angel, a second one, followed him, and said, “Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen! She has made all the nations drink the wine of her passionate sexual sins.” 9 Another angel, a third one, followed them, and said in a loud voice, “Whoever worships the beast or its statue, whoever is branded on his forehead or his hand, (GOD’S WORD)
It appears that God may have given us the actual plan in time for the fall of this Mystery entity. First there is the sending out of the Gospel to the entire world; then there is the fall of this entity who has according to later descriptions in the Revelation spurred on the worlds economy; then there is following her fall the rise of the Beasts full control. This then provides an order of things to happen in time. So again listen:
Revelation 18:2 He cried out in a powerful voice, “Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a prison for every evil spirit, every unclean bird, and every unclean and hated beast. 3 All the nations fell because of the wine of her sexual sins. The kings of the earth had sex with her. Her luxurious wealth has made the merchants of the earth rich.” 4 I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of Babylon, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins and suffer from any of her plagues. (GOD’S WORD)
God’s people are entering a time when before the rise of the beast rule we/they are to have no part in her sins, because she is about to be judged. She has fallen, and judgement is to be final for her.
If we are living in the end of this age as so many including myself suspect, then this United States does in fact best fit this entities description, because of the specific match of what this country is now revealed as having become. So is this nation in the last throes of her demise? And therefore is, what is revealed concerning Mystery Babylon relative to our situation? Today we not only resemble her but we house the very entity that comprises world leadership — the United Nations.
It currently appears that the gospel is very close to being made available to every language group on earth. The target by Wycliffe is 2025 to have it complete in every language. Now we can admit and understand that the decline of America is rapidly occurring; and that the Antichrist world system is in full motion, both politically and religiously.

According to the first chapter of Colossians, the Gospel had been preached to the whole world before Paul died. Further down it states “which has been preached in all creation under Heaven,”
Do you believe what the scripture says? Is it possible that these times you claim are nothing new?
Is it possible that no one knows what times we’re in?

I do believe the Bible, I’m familiar with that passage. I’m sure that Paul believed what he wrote, but Paul at times told us that what he had written was not directly from the Lord. Obviously Paul had not been to Western Europe or to the Americas. We are told in Romans that the very creation speaks of God to every man. That is good news for everyone on earth. The gospel is good news. So in that respect the gospel has been preached to every man. And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14. So do you believe Jesus?

Paul never claimed that he had spread the gospel to the whole world, he just claimed the gospel had been spread to the whole world.
And as for Jesus, He came before Paul so I don’t understand why you’re quoting Romans. Romans has nothing to do with Paul confirming that the Gospel had reached the world before his death.
Now let’s get back to the point in question. You say “It currently appears that the gospel is very close to being made available to every language group on earth. The target by Wycliffe is 2025 to have it complete in every language”
You claim this as to fit your narrative that the end is upon or could be upon us.
But the bible says it’s all ready happened.
You claim the bible is infallible and the word of God, and yet you say the bible is mistaken when it states the Gospel has all ready been made available to the world. It happened before Paul died according to scripture.
I believe first and only Jesus, you could say I’m a red letter Christian. Or so I’ve been labelled from time to time. But like all believers, I’m partial to some scriptures over others.

A lot of things that we could discuss based on what you raise here. There is nothing wrong with listening to Jesus. I also know that you understand the need for the Holy Spirits involvement in the Christian walk. Paul says that The Spirit is our teacher, and I know that you believe in that concept. So I guess that given that you would need to determine what you think the Spirit is telling us concerning the gospel’s spread.
You and I don’t tell everything that we believe in one discussion, but over several interactions we come to know things about one another. I think that’s how we need to consider Paul’s writings. That’s why I brought Roman’s chapter one into the equation. One of the Old Testament writers tells us that we learn line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little. So the Holy Spirit’s teaching seems to bring together the different passages on a given subject. And we are told to study to show ourselves approved. What do you think about what I’m saying?

I agree with what you’re saying Jerry. For myself, there’s just too much going on in the bible for me to believe or perpetuate any one belief or theology as being the truth. With exception as to who the bible declares Jesus to be.
Always asking myself, what would Jesus do? I know that line is a cliché, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that we are supposed to mimic Jesus.
I’ve spent enough time reading and discussing apologetics that I can no longer believe that anyone knows much more than anyone else when it comes to the things concerning the Kingdom of Heaven.
God remains a mystery, but a Beautiful Faithful mystery I will add.
I trust Him and Him only.
Concerning 2 Timothy 2:15, the context is one jew talking to another jew.
I don’t think there’s gonna be an aptitude test when we stand before Jesus. Nor do I think I have to prove myself to anybody.
Just my take on it. I don’t preach that. Hehe

Now Stephen, I can understand you in this comment. I wouldn’t argue with you as to my being enlightened above any other of Jesus brethren. I do agree with what I think you to be conveying — that if we are to understand anything it must come from the Lord. Like Jesus told Peter: “blessed are you Simon For flesh and blood did not reveal this unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.” You can’t go wrong trusting Him.

Could the new Babylon, or Mystery Babylon, be more than a location on a map? The former Babylon was centered around a city and people drunk on power and debauchery and utter disobedience to our Creator. God dealt with them by destroying their city, confusing their tongues, and scattering their people. It appears God has no love for an arrogance-driven, one-world system.
What if this new Babylon, that is mentioned throughout the Bible, is more than a single location? What if it is this one-world system that is being forced upon most nations around the world? It is certainly of the same spirit as the former Babylon. It is a beast system that cares nothing for the slaves whose backs it is built upon and only exists to elevate those in power to a greater power.
I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of Babylon, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins and suffer from any of her plagues.” The Church must wake up and separate itself from any connection to this system.

Amen Jake, I don’t know if you remember but in the book I had stated that this could very well be that the entire world government and corporate material system does fall with Whatever Babylon is. I think you are likely correct.
