Following the message on “comfort” by Terry James, which was posted recently, there was this comment spurred on by Terry’s teaching in that post.

So, let me get this right. We are too good or too blessed to stay the course through the troublesome time that is coming during Tribulation, when Satan and his forces are loosed by the restrainer, but the Tribulation saints are somehow not worthy to be Christ’s bride, But, it is they who apparently are not loved nearly as much as the pre-Tribulation saints, yet, it is they who will do something that today’s divided body of Christ as a whole has not been able to accomplish. They will overcome Satan with the blood of the Lamb and with the word of their testimony.
So just where does Jesus tell these Tribulation saints that they are lesser saints with no promises attached to their salvation except possibly the death penalty. And certainly they have no promise to escape the wrath of God; because according to pre Trib theology they are now right in the middle of God’s wrath, so all that they have in the way of promises are that they will receive the same and greater persecutions then were promised the pre-Tribulation saints at the hand of Satan and the world, exactly as it was told to us by Jesus. And they will also as their greatest reward receive God’s wrath poured out upon them. And we are cheering them on.
◦ And later in the kingdom, according to pre-Trib scholars the only promise that these Tribulation saints are given is to be ruled over in that kingdom with a Rod of iron. In fact these saints love the Lord so much that they love not their lives even unto the death. But they are considered by some scholars and many believers to be so ignorant of Christ and of the scriptures that when Jesus separates them out from the goats at the sheep and goats judgment, to be ruled over by us, they don’t even know that their love shown for Jesus’ brethren is the reason that Jesus saved them to be ruled over by Him and by us. Their consolation is to know us, who were somehow too loved to do what these saints were willing to do for Christ. Ok it’s convoluted, but I hope that you see the absurdity of this teaching.
In fact if any saints who are in Christ deserve to be in the bride, and deserve to be partakers of the promises made to all who are in Christ, it is these saints. The only saints up to this time to in any way compare to these Tribulation saints, are the martyrs for Christ existing down through the ages. Certainly this lukewarm laodicean church existing today has no right to claim herself better than these saints, who also must be in Christ in order to be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18 KJV
If your blessed hope only lies in the Rapture of the Church, and not in the Savior of His church (His bride); then you stand to be in serious trouble when evil rules this world for its season, as it now appears is coming rapidly to the forefront.
Even so, come quickly lord Jesus. Even so what —- Brother John?
