I highly recommend your reading this post by Terry James, and then also read the comments to the post. Since Terry never allows my questions to him to remain on these posts I have taken screen shots of what I commented. If anyone wants to see them, I will post them in the comments section of my reblog here.

But there is one other more important question, that I think is significant to this post of Terry’s. If the Rapture is considered to be real as to a pre-Trib timing; then certainly it would create more havoc than any of us could begin to speculate about — Terry speaks to that havoc and chaos in this article; so that being the case, then why is there no evidence anywhere in the prophetic scripture of this chaos at the beginning of the Tribulation?

If you read the book of Revelation, from 4:1, the supposed timing of the pre-Trib Rapture, there is no mention of things on earth until 6:2. And the very first thing that happens on earth in this verse is the granting of power to the rider of the white horse, and it is not until the second rider of the red horse goes out that peace is taken from the earth. In these verses there then can be no chaos then until peace is taken. Yet, according to pre-Trib theology the Tribulation begins on earth with the white horse following the Rapture, and there is obviously peace in the earth until the second rider comes. — Where is the Chaos from Rapture?

Then if we continue reading in Revelation which pre-Trib Theologians see as sequential, we find this statement in:

Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. (KJV)

So nothing is to be done to harm earth until the sealing of God’s servants. Any chaos before this would surely be felt by all on earth — cars crashing; planes crashing; ships running into one another; homes and buildings burning from these crashes. But God’s servants must be sealed before any harm can come to earth. — who are these servants?

Also remember as an aside to this, that it is the servants of God to whom this book is written:

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. (KJV)

So these servants are still here represented as being present, after the supposed pre-Trib rapture.

If there is in scripture a passage which speaks of Chaos at the beginning of the Tribulation, please reveal that to us, because it would be in complete contradiction to what we see here. Should you then find even one such scripture passage, please list it in the comments section of this post. Otherwise we will conclude that there has been none recorded, and if there is none; then there according to these verses cannot have been a rapture yet to have occurred.

Think brethren, God gave you a mind to think. He gives you the mind of Christ, if you will but receive it.
