Some are asking what is God’s involvement in this virus? But:
To most that is too difficult a question to even answer, much less contemplate. After all, who really knows the heart and mind of God, if there even is a god?
Others in the churches have been calling for the Return of Jesus for years, decades, and yes centuries. And to the world it’s almost like the little boy who cried wolf. Even much of the church leadership has now refused to ask the question of their congregation: “Are we seeing the signs of the end of this age?”
If we are nearing the end of the age, many realize that the Great Tribulation is coming; and they believe that it is all about God’s day of Wrath. Some are asking are we to see God in this virus?
Many are using the scripture that we often hear repeated: “If My people, who are called by My name…”, but is this virus sent just to inflict God’s people?
If you read my stuff, then you know that I often relate what is happening around us to this end of the age and the time that we live in. What does God’s word say about something like this virus that is occurring at such a time as this, and that is also a world wide message? Jesus says in Revelation:
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Revelation 2:21-23 KJV
Jezebel who is the “her” of these verses, refers back to a Government under Ahab in Israel when Baal was invoked and Gods prophets were in hiding and being slain by her. She represents an evil godless leadership in this passage with whom some in the churches have gotten in bed.
God here describes the mission of an end time tribulation and Great Tribulation, which will once and for all prove to the churches that He is the one. In this period known as the Tribulation, God continues to inflict in order that men might repent:
The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent even then of the works of their hands, so as to cease worshiping and paying homage to the demons and the idols of gold and of silver and of bronze and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries (drugs, intoxications) nor of their [sexual] immorality nor of their thefts. Revelation 9:20-21 AMP
People were [severely] burned by the great heat; and they reviled the name of God who has power over these plagues, but they did not repent [of their sin] and glorify Him.
Revelation 16:9 AMP
and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their anguish and their sores (abscesses, boils); and they did not repent of what they had done nor hate their wickedness. Revelation 16:11 AMP
God has revealed His purpose for allowing such plagues to come upon the earth as CoVid—19, but. What will men do? Will they repent? And what will His people, the churches do? Will they see this plague and call the world around them to repentance, and point their people to understand their times?
According to these verses from the mouth of Jesus, it will take great Tribulation to awaken the churches to become the church — the bride who has made herself ready.
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Revelation 19:6-7 KJV
CoVid-19, seems a clarion call to mankind, living today, in a world gone mad and in no way honoring her creator. But will she repent? Will she turn to God? Will the church come to understand her time?
I titled this purposefully for the world, because I get actually more hits on this blog from the search engines than I do from WordPress readers or from Facebook. So if you have read this far, and you are not a believer know that God loves you. He has blessed you and His people with great things, but His purpose is to establish a relationship with you. Yes, he allows and even sends plagues, but always with the purpose that you repent and find that relationship with Him.
Hi Jerry,
I deleted my post that was offensive to you, and you said that you would return the courtesy, and delete your post that was offensive to me.
So why are you hanging onto it by password protection?
Instead of deleting it like you said you would?

I’m working on another article, and thought I might want to use some of the scriptures involved. Don’t worry it’s not going to resurface. I even changed the title. It is not available to anyone. Is that a problem?

Thank you for responding Jerry.
Please just delete it.
You can write down the scripture references then delete it.
It’s only fair Jerry, since I deleted the article that bothered you didn’t I?

Now it’s not even password protected, it’s on full public view.
Do you do things like this just to antagonize me Jerry?
I’m really getting tired of being treated like this.
Jerry, I expect you to be a man of your word.

Yes I can still see it.
But if you had deleted it like you said you were going to, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation would we?
Check your email.
