There is no doubt that men and churches are flawed. We don’t agree on Doctrine, which is, I believe, our understanding of Scriptures truth. So it may be no wonder that the appeal of our truth is being lost on mankind to the appeal of the world. The Alien “truth” is flourishing today as the church flounders.

There is a longing within man to know truth. Jesus and His word is truth. But when we who are the purveyors of this truth argue over it, it would seemingly lose its appeal.

What would happen if leaders in the church, no matter what their training, would honestly appeal to our Father to be taught by His Holy Spirit, His truth?

If Jesus is the word of God, yet His word is confused; then is the Jesus being presented to the world not confusing even at times to believers?

Is it arrogant to believe in one truth only, and that we can possess that truth on any given doctrine? And is it naive to think that truth concerning doctrine cannot be known? We accept confusion in the name of unity. Problem is each denomination claims to possess the truth. And each truth is proclaimed without consideration of the contradictions involved.

Jesus prayed to the Father for unity in the body. The church claims unity. We are to love one another, but is it love to allow one another to ignore scriptural contradictions within ones doctrine? The one unifying belief in Christianity is, of course, Jesus. Yet, Scripture says: But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not

preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully (2 Corinthians 11:3-4).

Paul says “your minds will be led astray”. The battle today is for the mind. There is no doubt that the Truth will be preached to all the world in the form of the gospel. This is one of the truths of Revelation that cannot be confused, but today the teaching surrounding it is confused.

Jesus says:

This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).

How can we confuse this message? But men have done so, for some say the gospel of the kingdom is not the gospel for the church. What? Are we not to be in the kingdom? Apparently not this kingdom. But you get my point. Each man has come to the place as did Israel where they devise their own truth even if their truth contradicts Scriptures truth, which cannot contradict itself. This kingdom gospel in Revelation and of which Jesus speaks “is only for Israel” they say. But they fail to explain why then it is preached to all nations.

So when will this unity in doctrine that Jesus prayed for within us His followers occur? Obviously the truth is being presented to every nation in the last days of Revelation. Will this spreading of the gospel during Tribulation answer Jesus’ prayer of John 17 for His people, because of the Tribulation itself? Is it possible that His prayer would be answered today before the Tribulation? You might not like the answer, but to deny that we are today not unified in the truth, is not being accepting of the truth.

that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless (Ephesians 5:27).

How does this come about?

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, (Ephesians 5:25-26).

It is done only through the word expressed in its truth, not as it is abused by man or the church. Not until we in unity want to hear the truth from the Holy Spirit will this word make his bride spotless and ready for Rapture.
