Jesus is Love, but the world cannot see His love for them, why is that?

Is it because Christ in us is the hope of Glory, and the world cannot see Jesus in us?

Is it because they cannot see our love for them?

Why did Peter and John; Andrew and Thomas; Mary and Martha; Paul and Barnabas; why did these men and women have the the impact on their world that they did? There was a reason. Was it that, that World in that day saw Jesus in their love?

Did they love the people as Jesus loved them? Did they love so much their Lord, that His love for them and their world spilled out all over those around them?

Jesus loved the world so much that He died for not just His friends but for you and me.

His friends became so in love with Him that they gave, as He had done, all that they had, not just for Him but for those around them, because they loved.

If we have given up in this world our cigarettes, our wine, our lust for things, our lust for pleasure; is that is not enough? Or is it that until we give of ourselves in the outpouring of our love for Jesus, an outpouring that spills over on this world; the world will not in fact cannot see Jesus.

The world is looking for Jesus in us. When will we show them Jesus?

Will it be when we are forced to go into the hi ways and hedges that we finally show that we care about them? Well it be when we through the money changers out of the Temple? Will it be when men persecute us and say all manner of evil against us? — Because we love Jesus and long for them to come to see Him? Well it be when they see us loving one another? Well it be when they see us loving Jesus more than life itself.

Do we love Him enough to lay down our life for them? Do we love Him enough to lay down our life for Him? Do we love Him more than life itself? If the answer is no, then do we really long for His return? When the answer is yes then the world might finally know that the Father has loved them.

For God so loved the world….

If we truly love Him then just seeing Him will be worth it all. If we really love Him than doing as He asked will mean nothing compared to knowing Him.

25 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25 NASB

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, 7 Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; 9 I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; 11 I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. 15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. 21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

John 17:1,7,9,11,15,18-19,21,23 NASB

Will it take The Tribulation for this prayer to be fully answered. I think that that may Be His purpose.

May God bless you all.
