I had a request to repost this with KJV Scriptures. I did but for, for those who Appreciate the NASB I left this up as well.

Life is short in case you haven’t noticed. We needn’t worry about that because God Himself knows the very number of our days. But there is a catch. You may not believe it, but you are a created being. You also may not believe that you are NOT perfect. How can that be? — its called free will, and we wouldn’t have it any other way, but along with free will comes responsibility. And our failure to be responsible at times in life has placed an enmity between us an our creator. In fact our very failure to recognize Him for who He is is a reflection of our pride and arrogance.

But He loved us. He even took on our humanity and came here in our form to show us about that love, and this even when we who were created by Him rejected Him. You say: “but when did I reject Him? We are going to look into that.

He knew that this would happen and yet He came anyway. He knew that there were some who would receive Him, and for those He was willing to die. But He loved even more than just those. He loved all and still loves all who were and are rejecting Him, even though He knew that most of them never would receive Him for who He is.

But unfortunately He will hold you accountable even if you have never darkened the door of a Church building. And it’s so interesting that you know this almost from birth. Even a child knows as they are choosing wrong that there is a difference in what they do and what they should not do. There is right and wrong written in the conscience of man. Rebellion is in the heart of man. The right to chose is also in the heart of man.

[B]ecause that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

Romans 1:19-20

Romans chapter one is ignored and misunderstood and that often by preachers. We begin our life with God. He knows us in the very womb. We are marvelously and wonderfully created.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

Psalm 139:14-16 NASB

God was there with you when you when you were created forming you loving you fearfully making you.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:20-21 NASB

Within the heart of every man is the knowledge of God. In the womb before your birth you knew Him:

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139:13 NASB

Yet man turned seeking his own way. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 3:23 NASB. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:21 NASB

Every man’s heart has been darkened by sin, yes even yours and mine. But the scripture teaches us that there is a difference between the wise man and the foolish. The wise man even though he knows that he is a sinner fears and respects God, and Proverbs tells us that this is the beginning of wisdom. The foolish man says in his heart “there is no God.”

Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Romans 1:22-25 NASB

The greatest sin, other than the rejection of Messiah Jesus, for man today is the ignoring of God Himself and the worship of His own creation, of which they themselves are a part. They knew Him in His creation but they no longer know Him and refuse to worship Him.

Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.

Romans 1:24 NASB

I spoke in a previous post about God’s involvement in the hardening of man’s heart in this life. He does that to those who have hardened their own hearts against His good news.

For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 NASB

If you have read this far, and somewhere inside of you there is a stirring then for you there is still hope. God has not yet, given you over to a deluding influence. But don’t allow this moment to pass. Call out to Messiah for He loves you, and will come and sup with you and you with Him in your inner man. For He has redeemed His people from their rebellion against Him, and paid for their sins. His name is Jesus, which means savior.
