Today we Celebrate it as we celebrate Jesus’ Own Glorious Resurrection:

I had commented on Dr Henebury’s blog several times.  Those comments are allowed there.  This response to my comments which was sent me by another reader of Henebury’s blog is below.  I will begin with the end of my comment:

I had given an initial answer to this above statement.  Unfortunately it was not allowed? But this following was an afterthought and for some reason is there.  I have edited for clarification what I wrote:

“PS, please tell me where the Bible has been improperly translated surrounding the covenants within the Scriptures. I have communicated directly with Dr Henebury, and his logic is based on his buying into Dispensational theology (even though he is Reluctant concerning it?). For instance where Paul says in 1Cor 15 that as in one man Adam all die there is one Man Christ, by whom must come the resurrection, which is obviously Paul’s blessed hope, since he would not see Rapture [himself]. Dr Henebury says this [this resurrection promise] does not include any one other than the Church [or bride], when logic tells us that being “in Christ”makes us one with the Church [or Bride], and [that] all of these tribulation saints who are saved according to what Paul tells us here [who if we understand logic as you must do], then cannot come to resurrection, [for] Paul says that there is no other way to resurrection; than to be in Christ, and then you will see resurrection. And logic [if we believe Paul] then tells us that if these tribulation Saints die in Christ, that according to Paul’s teaching they must be raised before there can be any Rapture. Logic will also tell us that if they are in Christ that they must also be in Christ’s Church that He continues to build until His coming. Where is this logic failing His teaching and Scriptures?” Edited for better understanding.

Then I added another comment:

“Sorry, but I can’t stop thinking about your comment concerning my logic. You adhere to a system of Eschatology that proposes that Christ’s return has always been imminent.  So I would like to hear your logic answer this:  if Christ could have Raptured the Church at any time throughout History; then just how will you prove that Christ has not already come for His bride?  You I would think would logically say: Because the Church still exists.  Yet, if your theology is correct, according to Grant Jeffries, one of your own [teachers], even though [he is] deceased, the Rapture could have happened at any time, and history would have continued on until prophecy made it possible for the Second Coming.  So what is your proof that Christ hasn’t [already] Raptured the Bride?  Why, I’ll bet I know your answer.  If your answer is logical; then it must be that there are still believers “in Christ” present here on earth.  But I’ll let you give the answer to that one. “

What is apparent is that the Church Body needs Bible teaching [teaching of the word]; and not men who reinterpret the Scriptures to mean something else other than what is written [a reinterpretation of the word].

Why was Paul chosen?  At least in part it was for His fervent belief in the Scriptures, which he had studied; and in the God of the Scriptures.  And once he had his eyes opened to Jesus; then he was uniquely qualified to understand why Christ came in order to bring about the fulfillment of the Covenants; and to Himself fulfill the Feasts representing future promises.

He knew that Abraham was chosen from among Gentiles to be the father of a nation bearing his seed; and from his seed would come one “The Christ” who would bring blessing to the Gentiles from whom he was taken.  This is why he Paul revealed to us that, we who once were children of wrath, who were outside looking in on all of the covenants and promises made to Israel, are now one with those same saints, only because of receiving their Christ, and because “in Him” we were made just as unique to the world as they who previously believed.

And logic would tell us that because those from Israel, who became faithless, by so doing joined themselves to this world, and they therefore need to find their Christ, just as we found him, or were found by Him. They need to place their faith in Him just as we placed our faith in Him.

There is only one God, and one Savior of us all.  There is one body, one people of God, and Paul says of His people the Jews, that what and Who we have placed our faith and trust in should have been theirs.  He in fact said before chapter 11 of Romans, that he would if possible give up his own salvation that they might have what both he and we now have in Christ.  There are in fact no two peoples of God. There is only one savior “Christ Jesus the Lord.  And today all people in Him, celebrate His resurrection and thereby look forward to the blessed hope of our own.

Today we celebrate Christ and His resurrection.  Have a blessed Easter
