Is Roman’s 11 written to us as individual believers or to the separate Bodies the Church and Israel?   This question is posed because if it is not to you individually then the Doctrinal argument contained in “once Saved always saved” can be much more easily presented and justified as truth.  But if these are individuals represented by Paul as branches; then we are being warned here to guard our faith, and to work out our own salvation as Paul encouraged us to do elsewhere in his writings.  And therefore the maintenance of doctrine itself is critical to the Church and more especially to individuals and our salvation.

Jesus, in His messages to the Churches in Revelation makes promises to Overcomer’s. Promises that are not offered to anyone else?

So is Romans 11 speaking to the entire nation (Israel) being cut off, or to individuals being encouraged to stand firm in humble faith in order not to be cut off?  And is Paul speaking of all Gentiles being added to the Olive Tree only to be all cut off once the Rapture has occurred?   I ask this because one particular doctrine which insists that once you are saved that you cannot remove yourself from the hand of God, who holds you, and that this chapter is proof that the mainly Gentile Church will be Raptured, but is that understanding truly presented here?  Does this teaching represent all Gentiles, or even all saved Gentiles as being cut off; because the unsaved Jews or Gentiles were never here as part of this tree?  And therefore is any of this Dispensational view correct, according to the way Paul has stated it here?  They certainly think he says that the Church (represented by the Gentiles in this chapter) is that entity that is removed before Israel can all be saved. And it is taught that Israel’s time of salvation comes during The Tribulation (so, on this point they are correct), for this is definitely true of the nation itself, even though many individual Jews are right now incorporated in the Church as Christ followers.

The question is can the Church Rapture be the understanding gleaned from this chapter, according to the teachings recorded here by Paul?  Paul states in the chapter that All Israel will be saved, and they will be. All that are in that day remaining after their time of trouble will be saved.  He informs us that this will not occur until all Gentiles, who are to be saved are saved.  But he does not tell us here or elsewhere when exactly that last Gentile will be saved.  Nor does he ever tell us that Israel’s salvation will not make Israel part of the New Covenant Church, in fact, their own New Covenant is what Jesus is to build his Church upon.

If it were possible for there to be more than one way of salvation and it is not; but if we were; then in order to hear these people out;  then they would tell us:  The two different methods of salvation are taught in the gospel of Grace for the Church and the gospel of the Kingdom for the nation Israel.  Yet the new covenant in Christ’s blood is the Gospel which explains both the promised Kingdom and Gods Grace as its foundation to all of God’s people.  And no salvation will occur outside of receiving Christ’s blood as our atonement for our sin.  Nor can salvation occur apart from the new birth, which is the receiving of a new heart as promised us when we accept the new covenant.  The kingdom is unachievable apart from Israel’s Christ bringing in their new covenant.

Matthew 26:27  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  28  For this is my blood of the New Testament (covenant), which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  29  But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. (KJV).
