Jesus said: John 4:22  “You [Samaritans] do not know what you worship; we [Jews] do know what we worship, for salvation is from the Jews. (AMP)

Salvation is from or (of) the Jews. An important question then is: how can Jesus’ Church, which will bring Salvation to the world not also include the Jews?

Some say the Church replaced the Jews and Israel.  But just how can Jesus’ intent be to replace what He knows to be the foundation of salvation itself?   Why is the Antichrist move that we see in our world today against everything to do with Christ or Christian; yet at its very foundation also it is against the Jew?  The “Why” surrounds the fact that they are the repository of Gods promises, and from them comes His greatest promise “the Christ, through whom comes the greatest event in History: the very promise of redemption”: and eternal life with the Creator.  From Abraham right down through the saints of old there remained yet to be fulfilled promises.

Hebrews 11:16  But the truth is that they were longing for a better country, that is, a heavenly one. For that reason God is not ashamed [of them or] to be called their God [even to be surnamed their God–the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob]; for He has prepared a city for them. (AMP)

God’s promises included a promised land, and indeed that promise will come during the time of Messiah’s kingdom, but it was made to Abraham, who was taken from among the Gentiles.  It was then offered through Moses to Israel, and they were never able to see it through to completion.  Not yet anyway.

So has Jesus left them out of His church?  Never, for the pattern given us through Paul was and is “to the Jew first.  “He came unto His own and His own recieved Him not”, but the Word does not end there: “but to as many as had received Him gave He power to become sons of God”.  And further it is even said of those Jews, who had accepted Him on the day of Pentecost, that they were “added that day to His Church”

The mystery which Paul revealed in Ephesians is often taught to mean that the Church being made up of mostly Gentiles is a separate entity from Israel, and thus it is thought that if you are Jewish and joined the Church that you have left Israel.  But Paul’s teaching is no where near this.   Listen:

Ephesians 2:11  Remember that once you were not Jewish physically. [You were not in the sheepfold of Israel] Those who called themselves “the circumcised” because of what they had done to their bodies called you “the uncircumcised.”  12  Also, at that time you were without Christ. You were excluded from citizenship in Israel, and the pledges [God made in his] promise were foreign to you. You had no hope and were in the world without God. (GOD’S WORD)

Read this in any translation and this is its message.

Ephesians 2:14  So he is our peace. In his body he has made Jewish and non-Jewish people one by breaking down the wall of hostility that kept them apart. (GOD’S WORD)

Jesus had said: I. Have other sheep who are not of this fold, and them too I must bring”.  You and I as Gentiles were not among the first ones added to His Church.  Jesus, following His crucifixion; then followed Elijah (John the Baptist) into the belly of the earth, where those in Abraham’s bosom awaited His coming.

John 5:25  “Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. (NASB2020)

Jesus stated these words and indeed they were fulfilled as He led captivity captive when He entered into Heaven.  Paradise was moved from the belly of the earth to the third heaven.  And all who die today join with Abraham.  At our conversion to Israel’s messiah we are made to be part of the covenants and promises made to Israel, one new man, in Israel’s commonwealth.

Now we will examine the mystery that Paul revealed, which was not made known to other generations:

Ephesians 3:6  [to be specific,] that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, (NASB2020)

How much plainer can this mystery be?  We are no longer outside of the chosen looking in, but we are now inside (one new man) and we look out upon a dying world desperately in need of a savior.  Salvation is of the Jews, and circumcision is of the heart; not of the flesh.  This is Paul’s consistent message.  Read Romans.  It is the Jew, who having had a heart circumcision, who is the true Jew, and the member of the Bride, who is one day to be revealed:

Revelation 21:1  Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any sea.  2  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband; (AMP)

If you read on concerning this bride and you can conclude that Israel and the Jews are not made to be clearly the provision of the Salvation provided making this bride possible; then please set me straight in the comments section below.  For they the Jewish fathers and Disciples are both the foundation and the gate into the Bride of Christ.
