Why not America?

The Revelation reveals that mystery Babylon will fall before Jesus returns in His time of Wrath.    Daniel gives us a possible insight into just how that fall will occur.  In fact God has given us many examples in His Word, explaining how and why His judgment befalls a nation or people group and their leaders.   For example God used a Philistines battle to remove Saul by the Sword from being the King of Israel.  He used the nation Babylon to place an apostate Israel into captivity.  

Just as with every study of a subject from scripture, we must first find the pieces from various verses in Scripture which tell the story and then fit them together. 

Things that we know are interesting. We know that the Babylon that will control the earth in the time just before our Lord returns will be a mystery.  It likely will be a nation that will fall due to God’s judgment.  It will be a nation which in its beginnings had been greatly blessed by God, for it is revealed in the revelation as a mystery which has been a blessing to the merchants of the world likely purchasing much of the worlds goods.  But what might be the Babylon connection?  

What we know of the Antichrist, from one of Daniel’s prophecies is that this Antichrist will be tenting in these last days somewhere between the sea and the holy city.   This particular location is known today as Gaza.  What Daniel states that is most revealing about the Antichrist is that he while encamped there will deem his greatest threat to be from the East. What revelation further reveals to us is that the Euphrates River will be dried up to allow the crossing of a 200 million man army from the East.  China is the only threat today capable of such a feat.  

Aside from these interesting facts there is likely only one nation who is surrounded by water and who’s fall would bring woe to the merchants of the world, who are likely marketing to her, and we all know who that nation is. But what we may now only be beginning to know is why would this nation be associated with Babylon.  

Babylon is an ancient power associated with the Middle East.  Today Babylon would have been situated in Iraq. Obama did two things that fundamentally changed the landscape of the world. He rejuvenated the Muslim ambitions for world conquest by raising up ISIS, and he imported an unknown number of Muslim immigrants into this land that will likely become known as Mystery Babylon. Today we are only beginning to understand just what those moves have done if unchecked for the future prospects for this nation.  And don’t tell me that he did not do this; for he is now supporting a Muslim in the NY City mayoral race. I can’t tell you just how it will all come about, but if we consider that similar moves in Europe have meant that there is No longer law in the UK. And the UK is basically lost.
