First I encourage you to listen to this Video below, and then I encourage you to read what I have to say regarding it.
I want to state a few issues being overlooked to help any interested to understand that in the very next verse following the sealing of the 144,000, 12,000 from each tribe of Israel there is a great crowd which no man can number, which has been stated later to come out of the Great Tribulation. So what is overlooked here? And this is not a criticism of just this post but of really all Dispensationalist’s teachings. Most all of them have assumed that these sealed from Israel are evangelists, but nothing is stated in the passage to convince us of that. There are then but three ways to look at this great crowd, which is spoken of following this sealing.
One, they are all saved during Tribulation, but, if the Focus during tribulation is to be mostly on Israel, as the Pre-Trib Rapturists claim; then there are not nearly enough persons in Israel to make up this group which no man can number.
Two, if there is no Rapture yet, and most of these had then entered into the Tribulation as the saved individuals in the churches and they come therefore as already sealed believers. They are then those who will make Israel Jealous even as Paul claims that we are to do in Romans 11. This is so that Israel may find Christ during this time of Jacob’s trouble just as the Scriptures teach that they will.
Third there would be a combination of saved both from Israel and from the world in order to make this great number of the saved coming out of the Great Tribulation. This if the Rapture has already occurred. But again this would contradict the teaching of pre-Trib that the tribulation is mainly about Jacob’s trouble as God is turning His focus away from Gentiles and toward Israel’s salvation.
There is one other problem for the pre-Trib position. Israel will lose 2/3 of her population at this time as seen through Zachariah’s prophecy concerning the refiners fire spoken of in Chapter 13:9.
Considering all of this, then door number Two seems the most logical conclusion seeing the bride as part of this great crowd, especially since, there are other reasons why the church cannot be prematurely raptured. There are other arguments that cannot get through or past scrutiny. One such, is that there is no church mentioned in Revelation chapters 4-19. That ignores the fact that John never uses the word church to represent the bride in any of his writings. Just do a word search and you will see that that is true. I’ll post a link to some others of these reasons in articles telling you what those reasons are:
There are many more articles that I can share with you. Should you wish to engage in a further discussion, please comment on either of these articles and we can take this further with your questions in mind. God bless you as you study.
