Discernment is from the Holy Spirit if it is to be of value.  The world without God is not unable to understand truth once it is fully revealed, and that for individuals in the world, is a form of discernment, but to know a thing to be true or false when it is brought forth relies solely on the Spirit’s revelation to the inner man.  Peter was called Blessed by our Lord because he knew the answer to His question: “But who do you say that I am?”  Jesus stated that Peter was blessed because His Father had revealed that answer to him.  If you know yourself the answer to His question, you too then are blessed even as Peter was.  And the fact that you know the truth is due to the Father’s Spirit having been heard by you. It was the Holy Spirit, who called you to the truth of just who Jesus is. 

It is this counselor, who leads you into the word. It is not Him, however who is responsibility, to force you to study His word: in order that you would be approved a workman who needeth not be ashamed.  No: You and I, we are responsible for the doing. Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only.  How can we be discerning of the word that we are not willing to learn from Him?  How can we be sure that what we hear is true if we are unfamiliar with the councilor’s voice?  Or, how can we know the answer to our questions as we read His word if we do not ask?  And if you ask and then are led to the answer; then will you not be learning His method of teaching you, in addition to His voice?  Jesus said: my sheep know my voice and they follow me.  

There is only one voice in this universe that  AI can’t clone. Why because AI has never heard it.  Otherwise every voice that is heard in the land is able to be cloned by the enemy today for the purpose of deception. 

In our day we can watch babies speak a message for Trump in Trump’s own voice, and hearing it we laugh, but discernment tells us this is not good.  For if this can be done; then even Trump can be made to speak someone else’s words, but in his own voice.  Deception then is all around you today, and unless you can be discerning of the masters voice; then you have no discernment. 

Even the world can learn to be skeptical of the messaging of the day, but the world without Christ and His counselor cannot be discerning of all truth.  It is the truth that sets us free.  The Holy Spirit is sent to lead us into all truth.  Jesus, who is the Word made flesh is all truth. If you are frightened by Jesus’ warning to not “be deceived”; then likely you have not yet learned His voice. But if you have never concerned yourself with that warning then you have not taken seriously your need of Him in order to be able to walk and live in the Spirit, and to not walk in the flesh.  

The Holy Spirit sets apart the people of God from the world.  Jesus prayed that by our love the world would be made aware that the Father sent Him and loved both Him and us, but that revelation to the world will only bring those who hear His voice out of the world and into His flock. Others remaining in the world though they may believe this about Him and even about us, yet by not wanting to know Him, they will not be led away from this world, because they hear not HIS VOICE. 

Love itself for the believer is very different than it is for the world. God’s love is able to see a man separated from his sin; whereas the world cannot separate out the sin, but instead the world is accepting of the sin and will love both the man and his sin; while refusing to understand God’s transforming power. 

The god that the world willingly adopts, has made sin to be inherently a part of man, with no need of deliverance. This god and his love intends to spread man’s sin. Man’s allegiance is to his perverted message. 

The creator God, who came to save us gives us the power to turn away from our sin and follow Him. That act is the true act of repentance, and requires us to become contrite inside.  Our heart changes by the preaching or reading or by some witness of the reality of this Creator.  God has a purpose for the contrite of heart. 

We are not able to save ourselves. We can only respond to some outer witness and hear His voice. We will either accept it or reject it.  Most of the world becomes so hardened that they will not hear Him at all. 

But certainly there are those, who have never heard; what of them?  God’s answer is in His creation, He has made himself known through His creation.  Read Romans 1.  He searches the world over for these men who have for whatever reason become contrite of heart.  His ways are not men’s ways.
