This in my opinion is very relevant to the questions that all of us may have considering the Church and Israel. I begin with a comment by Andrew concerning the ongoing conversation. For those not into theological terms: “Ekklesia” is Greek for the “Church”.

Thanks Andrew, I consider your input to be pertinent to the question “when did the Body of Christ begin(?)”, which body definitely was to be new as He stated it to be. And these prior saints being made perfect now with us or because we are added with them is crucial to hear.
The transfer of (paradise), which when Our Lord proclaimed His Church to be future, was then in the belly of the earth; but, then it appears in Heaven as Paul visits Paradise “in the Spirit”. This move of Paradise likely took place along with Jesus own assent. We at Pentecost likely then were added to this body(?), making of the two one new man. Though the exact timing is uncertain, still these facts concerning Paradise are fundamental to the questions: what and who constitute the Church? Who were the saints added to [as stated early in Acts], which were “added” at Pentecost? Why are only “unbelievers” from Israel cut off for their unbelief from the Olive Tree? Why was there a believing “remnant” left in that tree from Israel (if all Israel is removed)? Does the tree in anyway represent the Church (the bride) that Christ is building? How was Israel widowed in Isa. 54, if not by the death of her Messiah in Isa. 53? To whom then will they be remarried, as Isa. 54 continues on to reveal, if not to the One who died in Isa. 53? Is this portion of Isaiah not meant to be a prophecy of Christ’s coming “New” Church (His Bride), and the New Covenant for all, including Israel’s saved? These questions are all related and the answer seems to point us to a truth when seen as relevant to what actually has happened as recorded in scripture in order to complete what Paul stated to be the role of Christ – for all men who are to be raised from the dead due to the coming of the one man Christ, in order to undo what the one man Adam had done. This would be: resurrection in place of death; Restoration in place of separation; forgiveness in place of condemnation under the law. Christ alone could do that for all men of faith for all of time beginning with Adam.
As the reader of this can see my answer as stated above is recorded on Dr Henebery’s site.
