I’m happy; ( no actually unhappy ), that this article’s title accurately states the potential for further demise even within the Protestant Church. For The liberal element of the Protestant “church” was and is emboldened by this now deceased Pope. It is their own movement toward the condoning, not the potential elimination of man’s sins that is the problem . Sins for which Jesus came to die in order to eventually abolish from within us because He loved (loves) us. That practice within Scripture is called scantificaltion. The condoning of our sins will never lead us to being set apart by God unto His kingdom (the hope for that opposite that of becoming more Christlike), but instead it will lead one into the throes of Satan’s purpose for man: his destruction.
Read and weep should you agree.
Now for those of you who think me unaware of the meaning of this title. You need not worry. Yes I believe that the author likely believes that Protestants will gain from this rise within Protestant churches from the Catholic Church losses; but it is my belief that the rise will only be toward more liberalism in both. True Jesus followers will only be concerned with being in His Church. They will not concern themselves with following Peter, or Apollos or Paul, or any other man in the place of The Christ.
