Spurgeon in this message, would be appalled at what some calling themselves the church today, do actually stand both for and against . What he states here, certainly reveals that were they seen by the Father as His Son’s bride, then (He being the pruner of the branches would have cut away their sinful branches). But that not being the case reveals that they are not even worthy of being called a church. For were they truly Christ’s Church, they would be mostly cut off and tossed into the fire according to Spurgeon; and more importantly according to Jesus own word’s. Jp
