Listen closely to these my concerns and my questions; then listen to this short video Message that I attach here. It is one 5 min video on The Rapture’s timing. I ask you to consider it in light of these issues I bring up from the scripture that this speaker uses.
Then decide what you yourself think.
Consider First, that the pre Trib Rapture has been taught for around 200 years. The advocates for that position say that it was taught much longer ago, even by the Disciples themselves. The doctrines main tenet is that the rapture is the only coming of Jesus that can possibly be imminent as it always has been, and therefore it must be separate from the Second Coming, because there are or can be no signs pointing to this imminently expected coming. Yet if what he says is true concerning Ai and it’s pointing to the presence of the Antichrist; then the rapture could not have happened before the beginning of these signs that we now are experiencing. And since there are many signs for Jesus Second Coming to earth, therefore it is not an imminent event. But instead it will come at a time when we who are awake are fully aware.(1Thess. 5:1-4)
Secondly, they teach that the restrainer of the Antichrist is the Church, and the Rapture lifts the restraint on the Antichrist allowing for the Antichrist to come and the Tribulation to proceed. Yet, there is no one verse or even group of verses coming together to state these things as they are believed and yet not contradict the imminence theory. In fact, Paul teaches several points that, I believe, also contradict this their theory in Romans 11 as well as in Thessalonians. Beginning in Romans, he says that there is a remnant of Israel in the Church. He obviously is part of that remnant. He further says that all Israel will not be saved until after the last gentile is saved. And we know from Rev.12 that saved Jesus followers are present during this time of Tribulation. Paul agrees with this presence of believers during Tribulation by stating that it is the Church which will make Israel jealous. And he says (still in Romans 11), that Israel’s salvation will yield life from the dead or resurrection for us gentiles, who have been provided the blessing of salvation and that this has happened to us because of the initial and continual rejection of most of the nation Israel.
Our speaker you will hear state that “AI, has announced the presence of the Antichrist” and that AI’s chip will be used to control the worlds population. This then must be a sign of the second coming and before that event the Tribulation is freed to proceed,
So, why has The Rapture awaited this sign? What if Scripture has taught it to be awaiting all signs, so that we not be in darkness of that days coming? Scripture certainly seems to be teaching that the Rapture is to accompany the Resurrection of anyone, who has died in Christ (Israel’s Messiah). In light of many signs having been progressing certainly maybe we should ask why has the Rapture not yet occurred?
The 2nd Thess. Chapter 2: Verses 3-4, are used by this (unnamed) preacher to reveal what he calls a sequence of events. They are: the lifting of restraint from these coming events (which he states, without any other confirming scripture, to be the Rapture itself) this is followed by the AntiChrist being revealed and then Tribulations progression. My concern over his sequence is this. Listen to Verse 1 of 2nd Thess.

There seems good evidence that this day of our Lord’s coming includes the Rapture in close proximity. That fact Paul is certainly speaking of in this verse. And that fact belies imminence until we can know the times as stated in 1Thess 5. But, Paul also speaks of this day clearly in 2 Thess chapter 1 before he penned this verse no2 Thess 2:1. Here is a portion of that chapter:
2 Thessalonians 1:6 For after all it is [only] right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and [to give] relief to you who are afflicted, [along] with us, when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, dealing out retribution to those who do not know God, and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These people will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified among His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed–because our testimony to you was believed. (NASB2020)
So Paul is talking here about that day (that same day) when Jesus returns with His mighty Angels in a flaming fire destruction of them who know Him not. This occurs here when He is revealed and when the unsaved are cast from His presence. Paul makes this sound much more like Jesus time of wrath at the second coming, rather than what we are taught as a blessed hope event which can be found in the Rapture without this coming. In fact Paul mentions these folks destruction in Vs 9 before he mentions Jesus glorification in us in verse 10, and then he again mentions our gathering to Him in chapter 2:1. Both mentions here of Rapture are after the destruction of Christ’s enemies.
But then Paul says this:
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Don’t let anyone deceive you about this in any way. [That day cannot come unless] a revolt takes place first, and the man of sin, the man of destruction, is revealed. (GOD’S WORD)
What day cannot come? Think hard about this question brothers and sisters. There is only one answer. It is the day when He will destroy His enemies and be glorified in His Saints giving us rest. It is the day of His Coming to resurrect and Rapture His own after His wrath is poured out on evil men. We are not appointed to the wrath and destruction which will accompany His coming.
Now, Listen to this short message, and think about these things. Feel free to share this with those who you think would benefit.
Come quickly Lord Jesus, for the world will soon be calling out for peace and safety.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (NASB2020)
1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brothers [and sisters,] are not in darkness, so that the day would overtake you like a thief; (NASB2020)
