We are Told In Many Ways The Whole Truth, but Do We See It?
The Scripture reveals the truth concerning many things about us as God’s chosen. But do we hear?
Isaiah has reported it. And Israel’s Sanhedrin did not see it even when right in front of them, and they would not hear it. They missed Jesus.
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? (NASB2020)
Today the Church sees and knows what Israel has thus far refused to see and hear: that Jesus is the redeemer spoken of in Isaiah 53. Yet, ironically most of the Church refuses to see and hear that this same redeemer is fully revealed to all, both Israel and His Church in Isaiah 54. Yes revealed there as not only the redeemer but as the future Husband of all who will hear and see. This redeemer is revealed in Chapter 53 as having died for a then deceived Israel.
Isaiah 53:4 However, [it was] our sicknesses [that] He Himself bore, And our pains [that] He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated. (NASB2020)
And indeed He was and still is by most all of Israel. Yet, the Church refuses to see or hear that this same Jesus will one day again be Israel’s Husband as well as theirs.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-being [was laid] upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed. (NASB2020)
Some of us have used these promises for ourselves and yet written off or relegated this nation Israel (to whom it was written) to the scrap heap. Jesus died for their redemption, as well as ours.
Isaiah 53:9 And His grave was assigned with wicked men, Yet He was with a rich man in His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. (NASB2020)
Yes He died for them and they were as the blind, but what of you Church member?
Isaiah 54:1 “Shout for joy, infertile one, you who have not given birth [to any child;] Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor; For the sons of the desolate one [will be] more numerous Than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD. (NASB2020)
Do you understand what this says? Please open your eyes. Israel who was married is now having Children that she knows not of because she is blind and desolate, but you to are blind for you know not that you are her children.
To Israel God says:
Isaiah 54:4 “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; But you will forget the shame of your youth, And no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood. (NASB2020)
Do you not understand that this nation (Israel), who was once married is now to this day widowed. Her husband was crucified. How blinded are you Church? Are you even as blind as she? No, you are not a replacement for Israel, but you are her children that she has yet to recognize. And Jesus is her HUSBAND, WHO DIED, making her a widow, yet she can not recognize this because, you Church, refuse to see and to hear the truth and to communicate it to her.
Isaiah 54:5 “For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of armies; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth. (NASB2020)
You must see that Jesus the redeemer of Israel, and your savior is her Husband and yours. Jesus says:
Isaiah 54:6 “For the LORD has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of [one’s] youth when she is rejected,” Says your God. 7 “For a brief moment I abandoned you, But with great compassion I will gather you. (NASB2020)
Church you think that this must be the Father speaking to Israel? No, it was Jesus when He (her husband) was crucified, which act made her to be a widow. And all this, in order that HE could be seen as her redeemer and ours.
Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. (KJV)
Desolate, yes, but that desolation although it is still ongoing with the house of Israel; yet, it will one day end when they call upon their husband and ours, who is the redeemer of all who are the chosen.
Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. (KJV)
The sooner that Israel and the Church recognize just who Jesus really is and who we really are, the sooner we will see The Messiah.
For this gospel must be preached to all nations. That must include Israel; and then the end will come.
