This, our site, is an end of days site, so I tend to write about such things, and there is much these days to consider. Persecution is one of the major signs of these days. Jesus had told us in Matthew 24 of such coming persecutions. And Again He had John describe these days in The Revelation chapter 12. Israel’s persecution is to begin the awakening of evils reign, and the persecution of believers recorded there in Chapter 12 will set the stage for our Lords return.
Hitler’s persecution of the Jews was only the first step in pushing through the establishment of the State of Israel. A miracle of an event without such prophecy could not proceed.
So why is persecution allowed by God? God is completely just, but His allowance of the spread of evil in this world seems somewhat unloving on the part of a loving God. Satan and His evil ways have evolved and we have in some cases as humans assisted him with his plans. And that is the end result of free will being foremost in God’s plan. Choose you this day whom you will serve, is Gods call to mankind.
Evil has, as a result been exulted in our world. Before Jesus will return man will reveal just who he will serve. Everything today in the Church, in politics and in Humankind itself is hinging on the decision: Choose ye this day Whom you will serve. If it be God choose God. If it be Baal choose him.
