You may want to go back and reread yesterdays post.
Today we are seeing antisemitism taking root in many forms in our world and especially in our country. Much of what we are seeing is spiritual. Much is due to a lack of teaching or education. All of it is due to unbelief. This is especially true within the church. There are denominations who still today see the Israelis and their people the Jews as Christ killers. Certainly many of the Jews played their part in the crucifixion. But to accuse them of being Christ killers when Jesus stated to His Jewish disciples:
John 10:17 “For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. 18 “No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.” (NASB1995)
This explosion of Antisemitism has occurred rather rapidly in our day, but it is not new. Satan and anyone that he can recruit into such hatred has the destruction of the Jews as his goal. The Scriptures have foretold such. And they have foretold that at future Great Tribulation this hatred will spread and it will even attach itself to the offspring (the believers in The Christ, yes even to you and to me. Rev. Chapter 12.
Jesus came with one purpose: that to die for those, who know why He came for them. People who think the Jews to be responsible for Jesus’ death are of this world and still are very far from the kingdom. Unfortunately Christian’s, who don’t know this truth about Jesus’ purpose for not only their lives but for the Jews, also miss God completely.
Man no matter what he identifies as, still he cannot please Our Heavenly Father when he is following the god of this world.
To God Jerusalem is the center of the earth, and He instructs us to pray for peace in that land. His promise in scripture is to bring His people back to the land that He had given and in that process to return a remnant of them to Himself.
His final act in this age of mankind will be to save them and add them back among His adopted children.
Paul put it this way in Romans 11, where he said: “and then all Israel will be saved”.
God will fulfill His promise to Abraham to inherit a land mass, and also to bless the Gentiles, as he is given a heritage to be numbered as the stars of the heavens. And Zion will say in that day:
Isaiah 49:14 But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me, And the Lord has forgotten me.” (NASB1995)
And God will say:
Isaiah 49:16 “Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms [of My hands;] Your walls are continually before Me. (NASB1995)
Isaiah 49:20 “The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears, ‘The place is too cramped for me; Make room for me that I may live [here.]’ (NASB1995)
And Zion will then say:
Isaiah 49:21 “Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has begotten these for me, Since I have been bereaved of my children And am barren, an exile and a wanderer? And who has reared these? Behold, I was left alone; From where did these come?'” (NASB1995)
If you know this Jesus who came and laid down His life for you; then you are of this family with the Jews, who are also His sons and our brethren.
Pray for the peace and salvation of the Jews. We, who are becoming the sons of God, are one with the chosen people of Israel. We must understand that not all Jews or Gentiles will come to our Messiah, but God will save all who come to Him.
