And frankly, who cares under this Administration unless there is some political advantage?

I am involved in observing as much as possible, the ongoing trial of Tina Peters, wherein she is charged by the State of Colorado for some form of illegal misconduct or Election Interference among other things.  I will say that the charges are not yet really all made public. 

Tina Peters is the Republican elected Clerk of elections for Masa County Colorado.  She was, as part of her job, charged with the conducting of the business of that office, which included making sure all records involving elections were properly maintained for 26 months in case of audit.  Protecting the computer records were a part of that responsibility. 

Mrs. Peters, case is consequently very interesting, because the county or county’s IT Department was responsible for any computer backups.  At this point in the trial it is unclear who actually was contracted to make the backup.  This was because the County of Masa held the contract alone with Dominion.  When the Trusted Build (A computer update) of the Dominion computer was being performed it was done by the Sec of State and Dominion, this was performed following an election (not the 2020), this subsequent local county election in 2021 is in view here, the Sec of State for Colorado. (a Democrat), sent out a letter to the Clark’s office that the Trusted Build was to be performed, and that backups were to be done before the build. 

Peter’s and her office had many complaints about this Local election. The county IT Department was requested by Clerk Peters to do the backup, and this was refused twice.  So Clerk Peters hired an outside vendor to do the backups. The caveat here is that she was working with an Election Fraud Investigator and had her office attend his symposium. He apparently arranged for the back up?  There was deception involved in getting the forensic backup on the part of Mrs Peters (for reasons still unknown, and still vague for this did not in a clear way come up in the defense).  The person in question doing this backup also would have retained a copy of this backup, which was done both before and after the trusted build or update.  From outside the trial there is information that the backups are now claimed to prove fraud from what I understand. These facts were distributed over the internet.  And this has been spoken of in great detail (except for the deception) on various outside podcasts by the defendant. Thus the charges are I’m sure upbraided based on the deception.  The forensic backup or entrance into the computers for such purpose will come down to a jury question.  It could be that this is seen as part of the Clerks responsibility or not?  

My question of course is where are the investigation and potential charges against the potential coconspirators in the State, who at this point questionably may have stolen an election making use of the Dominion computer system and also potentially if not likely were then involved in the alleged cover up of the changes made at the “trusted build”.  All of this is out in the public domain as to what is stated to have happened when this computer was reprogrammed, which makes this trial look very political and even criminal in nature.  

Yes, laws were broken on Tina’s part, although the extent is not yet known.  Could this backfire on the Democrat prosecution and their clients?  Certainly, but only if the Defense is allowed to put into evidence the actual forensic audit obtained, and if that audit has had the chain of custody properly managed. And that was not allowed.

Will this potential fraud actually be pursued under a Biden backed State administration in a Democrat state?  

My current guess is that Tina Peters will be found guilty based on what she did that was not disclosed to the responsible State employees, which of course she is under law to comply, but would have of course been blocked from her performing the protection of what actually occurred in her county election computers.  And she will (in my opinion) therefore go to jail. And I expect that that will be the end of the matter until after the next election.  

Should the election be won by Democrats she will remain in jail, and the potential Election Fraud if provable will likely go un-prosecuted. Should Trump win, I expect that he will work with the State to attempt to have her pardoned, and then protected as a whistle blower, and the potential fraud, I should think, will then be Federally investigated and prosecuted if found to be true against the Democrat actors and Dominion, and any others involved in doing the currently alleged deed. 

If you think that this country’s Republic is at risk, then by which party is it being placed most at risk?  Likely both are involved, but why are we really here?  There is a total lack of transparency in our elections.  This is largely due to the Computers that are used.  They are definitely on line to upload their tallied data to the States central computers.  They are definitely subject to program glitches, either purposely created or accidentally created glitches. They are definitely equipt with ports that allow access to the computer by individuals, who are near that computer.  Election computers have been shown to have wireless ports, as well as plug in ports to connect to the internet. 

Transparency is therefore not possible without forensic audit, which, what with things as they are, should be a requirement for all elections done using computers.
