I’m going to say: yes and no. And, No I’m not waffling as is so with a politician. Consider, and this is the quick answer: Before Israel asked for a king, God considered Himself to be their King. He did give them what they were asking for, but He chose their king. He chose Saul to be their first king, and Saul was then followed by David. With David God had Samuel anoint him when he was still a boy, and the people then later chose him. Kings from that time onward were seemingly given mostly according to what God felt the people wanted or deserved, because of their either sinful or righteous desires. And it could at times be argued that the king was Gods choice alone. He also raised up other nations to be lords over Israel when she falterd. So at least with regard to His own people, it can be argued that God has much to do with our leaders. But again it is still considered to be that God blesses or in some cases curses us with leaders based upon what His people want or deserve according to their walk with Him. We are told to pray for our leaders.

Now, with that said: There is another point in the Republican platform that will be equally important to Americas future. If our nation is not able to accomplish this one point; it alone will likely take us down economically.

13. Keep the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency.

Based on my last three posts, what do I think is occurring for our future? I had told you before that I believe that we are going to see Tribulation in our future. Will it be Great Tribulation? Possibly. When that comes is unknowable to me and I suspect to you as well. If for whatever reason Trump is not elected, I would think we are moving into immediate hard times as stated within endtime prophesies.

Should Trump be elected I could see some delay in the times of trouble although those days may also be tainted as was his first administration in darkness. Obviously in order to have unity in his government he will need a committed Republican congress. My sight, which like yours, is subject to deception due to the times that we live in, and it is saying to me that the RINO’s have softened toward Trump for at least this period in time. But how will that play out?

In the end we will be given the President and government that our people deserve in God’s site. Another round of progressive divisiveness, as we are now encountering, will drive us closer to said Tribulation, which will be an even worse encounter with Satan’s planed take over, than yet we have seen.

If we are at this particular juncture in time, then we are not to blame God, for He has told us what man’s following after Satan will lead our world into. But, do not be afraid for we serve Christ and He has overcome the world.

His Kingdom is coming, one way or the other.
