When such an alignment happens, don’t we need to state: I will go with this as being from You, Father God, until such time as I hear from You to the contrary. Some will tell us that this is naïveté, but this is what I see in Scripture that God requires of us. It’s called faith based on His Word.
So then, I want us to consider what I shared with you Friday in the post where VP Vance’s spouse was reviewed by The Christian Post in their Article. Her background is Hindu. Frankly this is not what I wanted to read or hear concerning her? What might it tell us I’m not totally sure. But I have an inkling.
There are always clues from our surroundings, which might help us have some understanding of things. For example the signals that Kamala Harris puts out on her own behalf is full of clues. Usha, who is obviously not a believer is also being offered up as one possible clue, but there could be an even clearer weather vane of prediction. The demise of the U.S. and its power is thought to be a predictor of our times. This following statement is point 12. In the revised Republican platform:
12. Strengthen and modernize our military, making it, without question, the strongest and most powerful in the world.
Obviously the thinking is that we may no longer be in that position? What came quickly to my mind from just this information on changes that may be predicting decline, was the times of King David and his son Solomon.
I’m going to ask you to consider the King of Israel Solomon. Did God use Solomon? Yes. But, did God bless Israel beyond Solomon’s own days? Why am I considering Solomon when I think of this era of decline, and President Trump and his selection for VP and his clear platform for Americas future? First, he seems blessed of God in many ways as was Solomon; yet in President Trump’s first Administration he unfortunately was without wisdom where it really seemed to count. He was buffeted at every turn, and yet was not without many accomplishments. He surrounded himself with many of the wrong people. We know this and we would hope for better going forward. If J.D. is Trump’s choice to follow in his shoes, should Trump win; then where might we be headed? Consider Solomon’s legacy:
“The divided monarchy
After Solomon died (922 BCE), he was succeeded by Rehoboam, who proved to be unfit for the task of reigning. Prior to Solomon’s death, Jeroboam the Ephraimite, a young overseer of the forced labour battalions of the “house of Joseph” in the north, had encountered Ahijah, a prophet from the old shrine of the confederacy at Shiloh, and Ahijah had torn a new garment into 12 pieces, prophesying that 10 pieces (tribes) would be given to Jeroboam and only two pieces (tribal political units) would be retained by the house of David.” This is from the britannica.com. It is true to Scriptures narrative.
Should this comparison mean anything to us? God obviously observes the choices of leaders. So what might the selection of J.D. mean for us as a nation? First let me say that President Trump chose basically a traitor to his own administration and to the country in 2016 as his VP. Can Usha Vance become a believer? J.D. will receive council from her following his own future rise to power should he win. He is known to have a great deal of confidence in Usha’s council. So without her conversion any advice would then come from a wife who is an unbeliever. Would there then be trouble ahead. Without her conversion to Christianity, I hate to think what this might lead to. For in such a case difficult times could lay straight ahead. Solomon of whom it was stated that he was wiser than any other living man, yet he had chosen an unbeliever to reign with him.
But we need to look closer at the weather vane I had mentioned: if we are in the days leading to last days events; then America according to most biblical scholars will not expand, but she will instead regress in military might setting up these days.
What further links to such a possibility are found in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. We are aligning with difficult times as we are seeing the signs of the end times of division come to pass before our eyes among believers.
The split that has occurred over the centuries within the prophetic doctrines of Christianity have a definite definable distinction. One of these groups places us very near to the events declared in Revelation known as Great Tribulation; and the other group’s doctrine is advocating for Trump to be God’s man, who will set up this country and the world for a long period of peace and prosperity, which then is to only be followed by Christ’s return.
Using events from Scripture and specifically Israel to analyze our own times, which we are encouraged to do; I find us to be very near this stated Tribulation. Should God determine prosperity to come first, so be it. And we then will likely grow powerful again contrary to what is now happening.
Admittedly the second prophetic scenario above predicting peace is not entirely out of the question, but it would need to be a very long shot for it to succeed for more than a single decade. A worldwide revival or a turning toward Christianity for major proportions of our world would in my thinking, need to occur in order to cause God to hold off the prophetic signs already occurring in these our times.
This post is getting rather long, so I want to continue my thoughts beyond this point in tomorrows post.
In the interim, think and pray on these things. Pray especially for the salvation of Usha, and for Trump and J.D. to be given wisdom from God, even as you are praying for our present leaders. And we certainly are not to forget to pray for whoever is counseling or calling the shots for Biden’s duration in office. But watch the weather vane. Even with a Trump victory over likely Kamala, we still may not see the winds of end time prophecy change?
