The article raises many questions. The reasons given may be correct, but what is being taught to these young people is at the heart of the issue.

The Answer given, leads us to a why question. Why are A-mil and Post-mil teachings on the rise? I ask because it is the teachings in universities that will bring about the change in thought. Part of the reason given is that Jews are “seen as a white oppressor class”, and Israel’s actions somehow support that conclusion.

The University purpose, at least in one regard should be to cause young people to learn to think for themselves and seek out truth, but most Universities have evolved into propaganda tools at the hand of some group with an agenda. The agenda may have behind it a good motivation, but it is still an agenda nonetheless.
I attended a Christian University for part of my education. It like others had an eschatological bias. That’s not all wrong, but when the reasons for choosing that bias over others is not fully understood by the student; and in some cases not even by the educators; then the student may conclude that they need to reject the entire system. Or what is even more often the case they just blindly accept the Institutions propaganda, which is what a bias becomes if it is taught without balance.
The why some teaching is correct needs to be supported with scripture, and the why Some other understanding is incorrect needs to also be supported.
Better yet, the students should be assigned the task of researching the differences on their own or as a small group to draw their conclusions. Then learning and not propaganda takes place.
An elementary question that must be answered by any seeker of Biblical truth is: do I trust God’s word as written? If we determine the answer to be no; then that understanding will lead us into many different conclusions when seeking truth. But if we determine the answer to be yes then that determination leads to a whole other set of problems. For if I read that I am to stone someone for adultery, then as a literalist I must do it. So why don’t I as a literalist?
In the beginning the scripture was entrusted to only a few, and God spoke to only those few to guide the people. The scriptures were progressively given to educate more leaders under Israel’s priesthood.
From the beginning grace was extended to man for his sin; today grace is imparted with truth through education. “To whom much is given much is required.” The law was part of the progressive giving of truth. But all truth was not made available to man until the giving of the Holy Spirit. And that not until the coming of the Christ, who was the truth.
The promises given to Israel are standing promises that we in Christ, her messiah, are told that we will share with her:
That is the message of Paul in Ephesians chapter two.
Israel’s Jews were the first added to the church and they will be the last added. This gives new meaning to the phrase: “the first shall be last and the last first.”
To leave Israel out of the equation is to miss the teaching of scripture.
To expect the church to be the answer for social Justice in the world is to overlook the fact that the world is the enemy of the church. “In this world you will have persecution” and “if they persecuted Me they will persecute you.” Jesus told us both of these truths.
Expect things to get worse not better for this earth, and for the church.
