I as a Christian, who while being very much into Biblical signs, must also consider all that is occurring within and amongst those signs. I would be remiss if, as I analyze all that is happening, I did not consider that these times are also to likely be among the most, if not the most deceptive of times from all of history, for the human race, including Christian believers.

Yesterday? I was listening to a podcast involving a Christian and a Muslim, both podcasters, these two men, who had previously met were enamored with one another, and they felt that they were both seeking the same God. Much of the world today including religious leaders, and even the current Pope, would seem to agree. Jesus after all has encouraged us to love everyone, even our enemies. But the understanding that we are to love our enemies would seem to imply that we have enemies.

If everyone is agreeable as to our purpose and the truth that we are to follow; then we actually become as the lemmings and simply scramble over the cliff together to our deaths. Jesus seemed to see love for even an enemy, as one being willing to put himself on the line no matter the consequences in order to make even that enemy, if possible, a disciple of Christ.

We as believers today have ample opportunity to display just that kind of love. In order to do this we would need to stop with the cowardice that we display before others even those, who may mock us and ridicule us. They need to know that even though they are enemies that Jesus wants us to tell them of His payment for the sins that they have committed.

If we can love like that we may see revival, and a temporary healing of our land even amongst these times when signs abound of His coming and of deception’s rise. Peace after all is the view that many of us want for our times. One that would require a positive response to our message and a turn around in our government; in our News Media; and in our societal norms. In fact it would resemble a total about face or repentance from sins control to a God consciousness. So that is the optimistic approach to this future. Will it happen?

What is the reality? I’m seeing many prophecies given by modern day prophets, who are seeing visions, and dreaming dreams.

Acts 2:17 ‘AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, ‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS; (NASB1995)

I was saved around the time of the Charismatic Renewal of the 70’s I definitely believe in God’s gifting’s. I therefore will not speak out against anyone who says that God spoke to him in dreams or visions. When those are shared they are subject to two tests. The first is the test of the Word itself. The second is the coming to pass test, for want of a better title. Many words have been spoken today concerning the future health of our presently sick nation. I have observed some of these visions and dreams fail the “coming to pass” test. Many of these are yet future, so I will not attempt to refute of confirm them. The general tone of them is prophesying a much brighter future, where evil (the deep state) is being defeated, prosperity is coming, a revival is sweeping the land. I am not saying that these things cannot happen, and if they are to happen it will take a great move of God. And should that be planned by God, He would certainly reveal that to His prophets. But has not God already revealed many additional things to us about a time known as the last days in His Word. Dreams and visions certainly meet that test. Knowledge increasing and men having the capacity to run to and fro in the earth. Additionally Jerusalem is a cup of reeling for the earth. The powers from the East will be capable of mounting a two hundred million man army to come against a western Antichrist power that has the capacity to control even whether or what mankind is allowed to buy and sell and to eat or not. This one leader will affect most of the Western Christianized world to the point that he will be able to kill those refusing to worship him. Leading up to this time of his reign men will be blasphemous, lovers of self rather than lovers of God. It is stated of worldly men that they will be given over to a reprobate mind. Men will lay with men and women with women.

So I ask you to watch carefully both the happenings and the signs of your times. Test the prophets to see if they be of God. Do not be afraid to attempt to make disciples of even your enemies. For in the times that you possess you are told that you will overcome Satan who will come down to you in great wrath and that you will overcome him with the word of your testimony and with the blood of the lamb.

Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.
