If you believe in God and Satan; then you might understand that the innocent blood being shed in our country is an injustice before God and a lustful pleasure for Lucifer. If you are asking yourself and God, just why all of the injustice is occurring today in our country; then maybe you should think along with me just how we have gotten to this point where God today is allowing such in America?
If you are a Christian then you probably go to a Church. And if you are in Christ you should be content in all stages of life. But, If you do ask yourself: “have I heard in my church even one message against the shedding of the innocent blood of the little ones representing our future; then just what is the answer to that question? Has my church leading up to or following the overturn of Roe V Wade, treated this event as just too political? If I am wrong, then what form did the message take? Because this event in America has caused the world within, that exists in the arms of Satan, to rise up.
But, if there hasn’t been one such message, why do you think that is? In fact since Israel was attacked in October of last year, have you heard one sermon on antisemitism? As a Christian have you yourself ever attended a rally opposing any injustice against any group? Have I? There were rally’s against discrimination of the Black community in my lifetime; against Abortion; against Antisemitism, has any church that you have attended ever joined with such a movement to condemn the injustice? Should we? Do any of these things I’ve mentioned represent an injustice?
Do any of these things represent injustices to individuals, whom we as believers in Jesus are to love? Are we to oppose injustice?
If we as followers of Jesus are not pointing out these actions, which are being undertaken in our country and in our world as injustices to our fellow man; then will we have any right to ask for God’s help, when He allows the wrath of Satan to be poured out upon His own people, in order to purge out the very sin of indifference, to what is actually happening all around us? Is this possibly how God sees our own involvement or lack thereof in the injustices to mankind, which He hates?
Evil permeates our society; the cries and gatherings in favor of such injustice in these areas mentioned do drive mobs of young people on college campuses and in our cities to outrage; to insanity. Women march for the right to kill their babies.
So the question that I ask today is a most serious one. Because its answer may just be that we the churches of America are largely to blame for the rebellious actions, for the injustices that we see. It was pointed out to me just this weekend: that God not only hates injustice, but that He also hates our complaining to Him. I suspect that that fact is most especially true if we are in some way even partly to blame for that about which we complain?
If even one half of the churches in America fail in presenting God’s will in these matters can that allow to creep in to our society what we are now seeing? I suspect that it is even greater than one half. Revival must always start in God’s people. “If my people”? And if His people do not; then can we, should we expect even more of the same?
Our Pastor Tom, ended this weeks message with a statement: “I have a Holy discontent”. We are to be content in our own lives. But we are to take back that which the enemy has stolen. Our nation is being stolen, our world is in the hands of this enemy. We can join Our Savior as He takes it back in these the latter days of this worlds history. We God’s people can be the catalyst for revival. If it does not come we will know why.
