I want you to think with me for a few minutes on some things that we know and some things that we are hearing and on some things that we don’t know, but on which we can do some speculation, based upon Scriptures prophetic word.

So what do we know about our times? In the 1940’s we came through a period in our history known as the Second World War. Prior to that there had been, of course, the First World War. In both of those cases Germany was responsible for starting and in processing those wars. In the Second World War, Hitler was even called the Antichrist.

I had always considered that particular understanding to have been false Speculation, but let’s consider for a moment a passage of scripture and then do some further speculating of our own, but not completely without facts.

Revelation 17:8 “The beast that you saw was [once], but [now] is not, and he is about to come up out of the abyss (the bottomless pit, the dwelling place of demons) and go to destruction (perdition). And the inhabitants of the earth, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, will be astonished when they see the beast, because he was and is not and is yet to come [to earth]. This passage presents a riddle and lets us know that people, who will be here still, yet those, who are not believers are going to be astonished at this beast, when it is revealed. Why? It didn’t say, but does German Naziism have any bearing on this prophecy. Germany was a candidate for this beast system in the past. Hitler was considered by many Biblical Scholars as the beast himself at that time. Yet, Hitler is dead, and they (the Nazis) now are not even considered to be a viable system. The Nazis if they do exist today in the minds of men, certainly are not under the control of, nor do they themselves control the German government. And even considering that there may be some evidence that Nazis do now exist, still they do only as an underground organization unattached from any known country. There is talk of Naziism being alive in Ukraine in this current war, and there is rhetoric from the left in America calling out Trump as the next Hitler. But none of that is taken very seriously. And certainly these assumptions are not connected with an end of the age and its Antichrist system as was Hitler in the 1940’s.

A 2006 Russian documentary recently came to light. “The documentary was recently translated into English revealing new information about a US Navy Antarctica expedition in 1946/47 [following the war]. Originally scheduled for a six month period, the “scientific” expedition was officially called “The United States Navy Antarctic Development Program,” and given the operational name Highjump. The naval component of Operation Highjump was known as Task Force 68 and comprised 4700 military personnel, one aircraft carrier (the USS Philippine Sea among the largest of all carriers of the time), and number of naval support ships and aircraft. The Naval expedition was headed by famed polar explorer Admiral Richard Byrd, who had been ordered: “to consolidate and extend American sovereignty over the largest practical area of the Antarctic continent.” Byrd’s expedition ended after only 8 weeks with “many fatalities” according to initial news reports based on interviews with crew members who spoke to the press while passing through Chilean ports. Rather than deny the heavy casualty reports, Admiral Byrd revealed in a press interview that Task Force 68 had encountered a new enemy that “could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds.

Admiral Byrd’s statements were published in the Chilean Press but never publicly confirmed by US authorities.” **

What Operation Highjump encountered is still speculated upon, some of that speculation includes a fantastical story of underground cities ((could this be the bottomless pit, the dwelling place of demons) according to Revelation 17:8) cities beneath the Antarctica frozen Tundra housing some of the then unaccounted for German scientists and upper military echelon missing after the war. There were also unaccounted for German ships. It is known that before the war in the “summer of 1938/1939. According to a statement by Grand Admiral Donitz in 1943, “the German submarine fleet is proud of having built for the Führer, in another part of the world, a Shangri-La land, an impregnable fortress”.

After the war Germans from the military and scientific world were found in the US, South America, so were they also in “Shangri-La Land?

The ships that Admiral Byrd depicted in his interview are speculated to be reverse engineered Alien craft or craft, the plans of which were given to German scientists, who during the war were encountering “teachers” from the spirit realm, who were being conjured up in seances and thus had revealed to them technologies not yet heard of within this worlds scientific discoveries.

Speculation yes, but many have written concerning the SS and the occult. I’ll share just one such here:

You will be able to find many more should you be interested in exploring Hitler and the SS involvement in the occult. And yes books have been written on the subject and also on the subject of Hitler’s regime and the technology being discovered. I list one such again here for your information only.

Even so, my thoughts beyond what I have stated so far would need to be considered also as speculation, so I will be proceeding with caution, but I will ask my questions.

Can men who have given themselves over to learning from Demonic Spirits through occult seances (if they right now occupy Space in underground cites) then be seen to fulfill the narrative in Revelation 17:8?

And: Can the “bottomless pit” be hyperbole since Biblical references to Sheol and hell are mostly associated with space below earths crust? Reason for asking is the fact that such a space cannot truly be bottomless if it is contained within earths crust, even though it may resemble such should one encounter the place itself. And remember Jesus the creator of all that we see and know did use hyperbole occasionally in HIS OWN teachings.

My final question is this: can Satan be using possessed Nazi Germans who fled to Antarctica after the war and, of course, their descendants to bring about such a war machine as referred to in Scripture and called the Beast. Scripture does depict such a system to have great power and to do battle and attempt to destroy Israel; and then her offspring the believers in Christ, and finally to come against our Lord when He returns in an attempt to overpower him. Of course, He will speak and all evil men will be destroyed. So could German Naziism be the answer to Rev 17:8’s riddle? An actual system that was and is not, yet it is to come?

My research thus far has allowed me to ask you to consider these things to see if they may be relevant to the understanding of this Beast?
