This site was established to give consideration to what it is that is important for us to understand surrounding our Lords coming. But why? I will just say: because it seemed very important to God. Jesus made it important as related to us by the Gospel writers record of the Mt Olivet teaching on the end of the age.

I’ve written concerning His meaning of this age and the misunderstandings brought about within the church regarding this term “age”, and what has been invented surrounding the term itself is a factor, which divides the church.

The church has many such divisive differences on doctrine.

We are divided at the very time the world leaders are uniting as an enemy of the Church and of truth in general. We are watching as the world is choosing to also abandon Israel the nation. Israel’s Legacy is established in the Church. All of the promises to the Church arise out of God’s promises to Israel. The completed Church (the bride) to Include Israel’s saved will one day come down out from paradise to inhabit the land given to Abraham. A land only partially occupied today by Israel.

Revelation the book given us by Jesus tells us of a time in the future when Satan would spew his wrath against Israel and her offspring because he knows his time to be short. The only One restraining him from this final outpouring of his wrath against us is God Himself. Gods wrath when it comes will mean total destruction of this enemy who threatens God and His people.

God through His Son tells us that during that time if the days would not be shortened that even the elect would be deceived (Matt 24:24). His people during that time will be met with an onslaught of misinformation or untruths.

The destructive forces that will exist at that time will cause men’s hearts to fail, and would if possible prohibit all flesh from being saved:

Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (KJV)

If we consider these conditions we would conclude that these conditions did not exist until this generation. These facts rise up to refute any thinking that The Mt. Olivet discourse was for the people of Jesus day and was fulfilled by the year 70 AD in their thinking. They say: because that ended the nation Israel. It in fact did not as we are Israel’s offspring, and Jesus is Israel’s king occupying Israel’s throne in the heavenly realm. We are the elect for which days will be or have been shortened in God’s plan.

Because we are one, Jew and Gentile in Christ, we will not see resurrection until the end of this age of human rule with its deception, and then His kingdom established by Christ, will come on earth as it is in Heaven. Then death is defeated for His people; His bride. Then we will rule with Him over the nations: see Matt 25, where Christ judges these nations; Zach 14, where Christ establishes His presence and His earthly rule; Rev 20, where we are given our part in the rule. All of these and more Scriptures describe the time of this event, and what follows it. This event sees the fulfillment of those fall feasts, which were not fulfilled at the time of His first coming.
