The Church and The People ID’ed with Trump are Not The Same

I often wonder myself what makes celebrity among God’s people. David for example gained notoriety when he slew Goliath as a young sheep herder. God was obviously in that. Judas gained his notoriety by betrayals, first of our Lord and then of himself. One chapter in Tim’s book is about just how Greg Locke came to be on stage from his small beginnings in Tennessee. He rose to fame not by actually slaying a giant, but by pointing out on FB Target Store’s part played in the coming bathroom debacle and debate over men in women’s bathrooms or separate bath rooms?
Yes he became famous over that, and in time rubbed shoulders with the President and the Presidents men, and apparently Tim doesn’t take to diversity of this nature within the church, or within our political movement. The big tent is talked about by RINO republicans, but not really welcomed.
These were Tennesseans, many of the likely former military who had fought for this country those enemies without, and that was good. But these were now understanding that we may just have enemies within, and these guys are not welcome in that fight. Or at least not on that side of the fight.
As Tim points out this was a rising theme, but Tim wasn’t buying it, not from Trump and certainly not from a Tennessee country preacher. To Tim this was not a Goliath moment but likely a Judas movement.

The imminent Armageddon phrase is telling about not only Greg Locks mindset, but also of Tim Alberta’s.
The question would become: who was right? Are we seeing Trumps men as the enemies of freedom and a peaceful pursuit of that freedom? Or are we seeing Biden as the torch bearer of freedoms defense in our nation and of this world?
We now after Biden have terrorist threats not from the Greg Lockes, who are now labeled as men to watch as they are on our terrorists watch list, but we have actual terrorists in country due to the infiltration across our borders.
Another question: does Locke’s church need security in place? Since 9/11 every church that I have been associated with has armed security. Here in Florida you won’t know it, but it’s there. In Tennessee it is legal with a permit to open carry within the law. Tim apparently did not like the look of that. That’s radical. It’s also radical to worship God in a way other than Tim’s staid Presbyterian ways?
And obviously you can’t mix religion and politics, even though it has been done in liberal churches for decades. Black churches and liberal white churches often have liberal politicians speak from their pulpits.
Tim is offended because Greg Lockes church exists within evangelical circles and because much of the evangelical movement supports Donald Trump, mainly because he also has risen to political fame in ways also not so well liked by the Staid and mostly do nothing but go along RINO’s.
The country is in a big mess and people are awakening to that. Is Trump the answer? We will see.

Greg Locke is a good man who genuinely loves our Lord. The first time I met him was January 7th at Dulles airport in DC, Priscilla took a picture with him. We talked for a few minutes about the events of the day before, then parted to catch our flights.
Listened to him preach in Tennessee once and once again here in Bradenton. He’s a good man as far as I can judge. God knows his heart.
