I love our Church, its people and our Pastors, this weeks message by Pastor Tom was so interesting. He concluded it with the concept of God invading this world with the light of Christ Jesus. And that we who are in Him, He called the light of this world even as He is that light. Pastor’s message focused on the darkness and the light.

We know from scripture that this is a true concept from God’s word. Men will either see the light and want it in their life; or they will love darkness and the world more than the light.

You have heard me state before the teaching that Jesus gave us in Matthew and Mark. It was stated there that before He returns the Sun and Moon will not give their light, and because of this darkness men will observe the stars falling from the night sky. But darkness will cover the entire earth. And before this event a Spiritual darkness is overtaking the world as well.

Pastor Tom brought out the persecution of the Christians in many places of our world today. And I began to think of how it is to be in those days just proceeding that darkness just before Jesus coming when a world darkened by a hatred of the light will in that darkness be extinguishing the light of Christ, which shines brightly through us even in that darkness. Jesus said: you are the light of this world. Because the world in those days has made its decision as they are at that time in Joel’s valley of decision. The world’s mission at that time coming from the darkness will be to hate God and His diminished light as believers are being extinguished from this world. Those in the world will hate you. Don’t be dismayed over that fact, but continue to shine for Christ, until He comes. This light is the only hope for a dying world. The world’s hope is not in population control; or in pollution control; or in immigration control. It’s not in Trump or the Pope. It is in Jesus. Let Him shine through you. You are His light, and pray that God will be our guide and our strength until these days befall this earth.

The light is seen to be fading in this country. Polls indicate less belief in the God of the Bible. With less belief, what we are now seeing in the Media, in politics, in our courts and in our streets, is to be expected. A dimming light allows darkness to encroach upon this nation. Our light must brighten during times such as this. Share things with your contacts that you think worthy of sharing. Pray for wisdom.
