The King of Israel is establishing His Kingdom and His Holy Nation.

Matthew 21:43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruit. (NASB2020)

Jesus set the stage for what we of the byways and hedges are to be about: we are to make them jealous. What is the meaning of this verse for the priesthood and the Messianic deniers of Israel to whom Jesus spoke?

Strong’s actually shows us that the Kingdom of God was taken from those to whom Jesus was speaking and was given to (as John stated it) whosoever will may come. This priesthood was replaced at least in part by a heathen people. He came unto His own but His own received Him not. His own priesthood rejected Him. But to as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God.

According to Paul in Romans 11, this expansion of God’s people was only made possible by the cutting off of the rejectors from Israel, in order to see an even greater expansion of this believing chosen nation, which will translate into a holy nation a Royal priesthood . But only her unbelievers, and that priesthood to whom Jesus spoke were being replaced. God in fact has seen fit to allow Jews right along with us Gentiles to observe what is leading to Israel’s last days. For it is then: when as a sign for all we will see her final salvation. This will be a sign for His people, those who will help make up this expanded nation to include even the Gentiles. And to this nation is then given the Kingdom of God. Thus we will see a nation replete with a new priesthood headed by her own high priest forever after the order of Melchisedec.

Go into the hi-ways and hedges and bring them in. Jesus further made it clear to John in the Revelation given him, that the great multitude who would stand before Him in glory would be comprised of men from every nation tribe and people, and that they all (Jew and gentile) would be represented in the new Jerusalem: His bride coming down out of heaven.

A holy nation will rise up against the enemies of righteousness. This is our time to stand firm as the enemy floods the earth with his unholy cause. He has already and he will continue to deceive this world. But we are not of this world:

Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. 13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

We are the children of promise: grafted in; adopted into the family of God.
